Evening guys,

I would like to present to you our first mod for ArmA 3.
It is a compilation of different parts of gear, ranging from headgear over uniforms all the way to vests and backpacks (WIP).
The goal is to give players the possibility to look ingame like a German soldier between 1995-2015 (No IdZ)

G3 and G36 are by HLC Mod. The PzF3 is by the BWmod. MG3 is by SAM (Swedish Armed Forces)

Just a heads-up though, if you are considering including weapons in your mod:

An educated guess, based upon 20 years as an 18B and from my own deployments in Afghanistan, co-located with with elements of KSK, I would bet that the Bundeswehr will probably move to the HK416 series for general issue. The 416 series weapons are already type-classified by the German Defense ministry, are already available for issue, and would keep HK (a national industry) from going through another painful series of financial problems. And it is a good weapon, of excellent quality, though in an 'apples-to-apples' comparison, just a tad heavier than the M4.

All of this has absolutely nothing to do with ARMA 3, the game, of course. I'm just saying that, if I were contemplating a future German forces mod/conversion, for the sake of future realism ( reflecting an accurate simulation of German forces) I would take it into consideration.

Hello Feldhobel here,

@PBeck we are not try to make the german future Soldier concept, we try to make an actual german soldier concept from 2010 to 2015.

I think the idea of switching from G36 to HK416 or something different is far far away.

It tooks 10 years to get the G36 into the german army.

Plus there is a ton of HK 416 Mods already out there, some pretty good ones too. I don't really see the point in going for HK416s, since there are no really good G36s around.

This mod will just include uniforms and such. In the (probably far) future we are planning to do more mods, also including weapons ( which will probably revolve around the G36 ).

This mod seems to be really nice. Is the M92 in front of the vest included, or is it only an animation for the screenshots?

Do you plan to release a german insignia pack with insignias of KFOR, ISAF, RS, MP (Feldjäger) or clan patches? This would be very nice and useful for clans and mission makers.

I agree with you that the change of the G36 against the 416 would be prematurely. The results of the tests of the WTD is not finnaly and in the worst case there is the possibility to add a heavier barrel. The medias often make things more dramatic and difficult.

We take some ideas from the awesome RHS Mod and there is a german feldmütze with helmet in front of the vest as a headgear.

And maybe we do german insignias but not in the near future.

Change the mass of the Feldmuetzen please.

100 is to mutch.

And maybe add a AGM/CSE/ACE action to switch between the feldmuetze with helmet and the helmet.

I wrote a little addon for this. If you want i can sent it to you.

@Lucian: Thanks for your effort: Right now we are working on extending our pallet of assets in this mod. Features like the ACE-integration will follow in future versions (We will wait for ACE to properly launch). We will look into the mass "issue", it may change in Version 2.0.

As a member of an realism and role play clan for panzergrenadiere I have to say it's nice to see more Bundeswehr gear but it would be nice if there's a version with clean boots. Additional to this though, you're freaking sure that our mates still putting the pants into the boots if in combat in Afghanistan? I'm pretty sure that not. They would be dead by heat right now :-P

Hey Astrell ;)

We are planning on do a number of different variants for different applications. Those variants will look distinctly different from each other.

For example a possible "Kasernen-Version" ( barracks-version ) will have clean boots and the pants stuffed in them. A proper "go-to-war" version would be a little more dirty, but it would show outside addons like holsters. The planned fighting-variant will have the pants over the boots.

Hey guys,

It is finally here: Version 1.5 arrived!

In this version you will find the first lot of "Feldblusen" (uniforms) and a lot of improvements. Watch out: All classnames have changed!

We are sorry for the long delay, but we are currently working on 1 or 2.. or 5 other projects revolving around more Bundeswehr stuff for ArmA 3!

The rolled up sleeves are just a placeholder atm.

@Babachori: I won't say anything about release dates as a ground rule. It's finished once it's finished.

The planned "War-Version" of the Feldbluse will have gloves on.
