Very nice stuff, congrats!

I really love it!

1 or 2 things though:

-The F-35 has no VTOL capability

-The armament of the F-35: why are there 6 + 2 AIM-120? It's just a question here

-The pilot of the F-35 has 2 weird thing over his back when ejecting, while falling down. It's really weird.

-The pilots don't have any chute.

Anyway, really great work!

The F-35 in this pack is the A variant not the B.

Good morning everyone i have looked over the comments and i see we have some issues..not game breaking but some small issues. I am in the process of getting a bug tracker via devwithsix if you know any others please let me know. Im going to also post some stuff here in this reply in a min stay tuned

-The B variant has the VTOL function this one is the CTOL version. does not carry that feature.

-Its for ppl who are strictly air support and flying stealth..(Simulated) The F22 carries the same configuration.

- Ill take a look at it

- I will have to add the Chutes to them as the primary ejection was supposed to be the seats but there disabled right now until i fix them. Will add them in hotfix

This F35 will not have VTOL, its not that version of the F35. Fuller has said this previously

Remember this is the mod moving from ALPHA into BETA... Definitely going to be bugs, and issues etc. The amount this mod offers in terms of content means that there will be bugs through the beta phase. Don't expect everything to work perfectly.

In my testing last night i did have a few crashes with various things. Some of it was really random. Others where issues already listed here. I could see a hot fix being needed for just a few of the game crashing issues like the empty b2 duplicate that when you place in the editor has a tendency to crash the game.

On a whole this is a mod that is really coming together and has a bright future. And unlike a lot of other mods... this mod brings assets that really change the strategic and tactical playing field. Pretty amazing work fuller.

And I know it's just alpha.

Nothing angry aginst fullerpj, just reporting things I think can be a bug, nothing more.

Have a question about the AC-130 . If I change position from pilot to gunner I can't change back to pilot . Is this intended?

I'm asking this because I mainly play alone on editor and that is limiting the use of this aircraft.

Are you flying with AI spawned Crew? If so then your unable to jump seat to seat.

Okay i got all of the errors and bugs listed. I will try to have a hotfix hopefully as early as tonite as late as tomorrow evening on the minor stuff. Overall how is the mod in your opinion?

Any possibility of turning the volume down on the aircraft, its physically painful to play in 3rd person or to have the aircraft in your general vicinity.

Sorry Wiki that ALPHA comment wasn't directed at you or anything just a general statement, sorry if that came across wrong. Yeah I do believe there is a B version of the F35 that someone else is making though.

Randomslap is making a B variation of the F35 but it will be a standalone release but compatible with this mod

Thanks fuller for tending to a hotfix for at least the easiest to tame bugs. Overall the mod is a game changer in my opinion. Many mods bring new assets into the game but this mod brings new assets that quite literally change the strategic and tactical situation in pretty huge ways. My group already is working on a straight up bombing mission, complete with mid air refuels, fighter escorts etc etc. Gonna be a fun weekend.

A couple of small things I noticed:

1: Once the B2 gets to about 2800 - 3000 m The sound pops and then goes quiet, screen flashes white and the plane disappears and reappears on exterior view.

2: Bunker buster set up on B1 and B2 does not appear to be able to lock the GPS/INS (target does appear on radar.)

3: Maybe personal preference but I find the F22 obnoxiously loud compared to the other jets the sound scale does not seem to relate to the throttle input. Taxing on external view sounds like a 16 year old girl learning stick shift.

I have also not been able to figure the AC130's orbit point and how to move it in the map mode ?

Thank you guys and keep up the good work, this is one of the best mods by far !

1. i flew from the ground to 3100m and did not experience anything you mentioned. Will try a third time.

2. I flew with both the B1's Laser guided weapons and the B2's Laser guided and Bunker Buster and got a lock to fire as normal please try again and let me know

3. I will be fixing the sounds on it.

for the ac130 in the map mod click the center arrow and then click where you want to move to and it will auto update.

with the F-22 I am unable to load any other weapons in the service menu. I open up the weapon load menu and the only options for weapons are the weapons that are already on it. either fuel tanks, AIM 120 AND 9'S there are no AGM missle options or any of the other wide variety of other munitions that i saw in the editor. A tutorial or readme detailing how some of these things work would be EXtremely useful

Keep in mind that we are trying to keep some sort of authenticity. As of today 24 April 15 the F22 is not capable of carrying Air to ground missiles. Thats why there is more than one fighter in the pack that is capable of carrying out that form of mission. I will be making a video tutorial instead of a readme..i dont like typing as it is

Jep, I get the same Problem. Also, a couple of things I noticed. I only did a very quick test though.

-The E3 and KC135 don't have engine sounds.

-Ailerons on the F-16 turn in the wrong direction.

-F-35 has a Gun, although there is no Gunpod visible. Also it has a strange shadow error. When in external view with your gear retracted, a thin black line goes from the cockpit all the way through the plane.

-Trying to place an empty F22 in the Editor also makes the game crash, or rather freeze as your stuck with the loadscreen from then on.

-Is anyone else experiencing massive drops in FPS when trying to fly in one of these planes over water?

As I said, only a very quick test and sorry for the crappy english, but I actually am too excited and want to go test these birds a bit more... :D Thanks to the entire USAF Mod team, you guys rock :)

1. The E3 and KC135 sounds will be fixed asap for hotfix

2. The Ailerons will be fixed for hotfix

3. The F35A has a internal gun. the B and C have the external gunpods. The Shadows will be fixed for hotfix

4. I looked at this one and its when you place more than one F22 empty...i am looking into why this happens. The game didnt crash for me but the load screen hang did happen.

5. I have not experienced massive FPS drops

I've got some things to say :P When will we expect the hotfix for them to have some of the vehicles in Zeus spawnlists and when the engine is off the plane camera is set to SE I hope to see a hotfix soon I really liek the mod :D and plz make sure that the hotfix isnt with the whole thing and only the parts we need for the hotfix :)

Same here, something tells me that usaf_b2_2 is not a valid object.

As for other bugs:

A10 sounds need tuning (can't hear GAU firing because of super loud engine). Paint options in Service Menu don't work. Arming menu works fine.

AC-130U Spectre: vertical stabilizer part texture (where the sq. logo should be) blinks sometimes. Invisible baro probe is present (Same in Spooky a s I guess they share the same model).. M102 sound is silenced. Engine sounds disappears as soon as it's turned off.

MC130 No explosion effects.

B1 texture needs to be darker. Wings geometry doesn't change when they are retracted. B1 lost afterburner :(((

B2 spawns without fuel. Wings geometry needs a fix (wings pass through other objects). Strange exterior glass reflections of cockpit. Please credit Pand4bear for his nuke script. That one needs a tweak, there may be a notorious sound problem (no audio in first person view). Other than that, the model is awesome; the sound of engine is the best.

С17 Absolutely love new reflecting paint :) Looks so cool! New load script is definitely better than old. Well, some geometry has to be fixed behind cockpit (right now you can walk through the new fancy wall). No flaps/gear up/down sounds. Not critical. Static paradrop script drops pilot at a droppoint after pilot tries to get out of the plane.

C5 Galaxy: Wonderful, the only thing to fix is crew enter zone inside of plane. Still SUPER loud.

MV22: WOW! Spent 5 minutes packing and unpacking engines. No bugs found.

E3 Sentry: Can't take off (old BIS bug?), no sounds.

F35:Awesome. Wing effects are meh though.

F22: My new favorite cockpit. Super loud engines! :D But also pretty authentic sound. Engine sounds also disappears (same as in AC130).

F16: Perfect.

KC135: No sound, but at least can take off.

P.P.S It takes 5 minutes to test, year to build. Thank you for a wonderful mod.

A10 sounds will be fixed..paint options should have been disabled will disable it and reenable it in update.

There is no squadron logo for any AC-130 aircraft. i will look for the blink. I will fix the M102 sound for hotfix

I need clarification on MC130 Explosion effects..what do you mean?

B1 texture is fine as is. Wings geometry will fixed and afterburner will be added in future update. It was taken out for a certain reason.

B2 issue already reported and will be fixed. Wings geo lod will be fixed for hotfix.

C17 Dont plan on adding sounds for gear up or flaps down..

Will fix the in and out positions and lower sound for C5

E3 will fix why it isnt taking off

Have not experienced the lost of sound with the 22

Impressive for sure. New cargo is awesome, new planes are awesome (they need some fixes for sure, but who ever released a mod without bugs?

Fighter Report:



-I am using all USAF pbo's included in the download

- am testing wih only the latest version of CBA_A3

-Have only tested the fighters thus far

1.) HUD's/aiming aperatures are functioning flawlessly

2.) No crashes to report. not one time and have filled the entire altis airfield up with every available aircraft in the pack

3.) *issue* Service menu is appearing and is changing from fuel tank to AIM missles as the fa-18's do, BUT that is ALL the options I am getting. The outter pylons on the F-22 raptor are completely 'greyed' out and are unable to be interacted with. There is no freedom to change the weapons on ANY of these fighters. I see in the editor sooo soo many different types of AGM-AIM-GBU etc.. kinds of variants and cannot place them on my plane. (Have tried placing the misle/bomb crates next to the plane and also placing the single weapons themselves beside the plane.) all the different missles/bombs seem to not be configured into the service menus

4.) *issue* am getting a "cannot create cloud* type of error when the GBU-31 impacts ground (tested from the F-35)

5.) *quirk* am able to 'getin' missle rack as if there is a pasenger or driver pos in it

6.) in the USAF drop down tab in the editor 'Empty>USAF>Air the very top icon appears in the shape of the B-2 but there is no label and when i place it down nothing appears

7.) *kudos* flight mechanics are very responsive imo,, and i can tell very unique differences between ''the fel'' of each fighter. They are a absolute joy to fly,, just REALLY need to be able to have alot more options on what loadout to equip the aircraft with.

8.) when attempting to switch from splendid camera sesion back to in-flight in the F-35 (only plane tested with this issue so far) game gets stuck at " do you really want to quit?"

9.) also with the F-22,,, If I open the canopy before i get into the vehicle I am finding it impossible to close the canopy one inside the cockpit

3. The F22 only has four sets of pylons. Two close to the body and two in the mid section of the wing. Again as stated i did research on current and future loadouts..those will be the only things that the planes will be able to hold. All the bombs in the missilebox are used on certain planes and bombers.

4. Will look at the GBU31 now to confirm

5. Yes cuz there listed as vehicles to be moved by towing tractor...

6. already listed

8. will take a look at that

9. I was able to close the canopy

Hey Fuller, sorry if this has been mentioned. But i am going to test this more today. Last night i crashed the B2 and when i crashed it, the B2 turned into a destroyed cargo truck. Almost as if the model changed from the plane to a truck after it was destroyed. Tonight i am going to do a lot of testing of the usaf mod without other mods running though to give a more accurate report of things.

Brief Instructions for use:

1. Download the Mod

2. Open @USAF Folder

3. You will see Folders

4. Open Required Folder and drag the required stuff into the root of the folder. @USAF>>Addons

5. Open Folders and drag out all the pbos that you want to the root of the folder. @USAF >>Addons

6. So if you want everything pull out everything to the root.

7. ENJOY!!

AWACS doent take off and doesn't have a engine noise....F-22 raptor kills loading times on Altis for some reason :/

Due to the problems installing the mod from the complicated .rar file. We will reorganize the file so that it is an easy installation in the next update. All you will need to do is drag and drop different @folders. Here is an example: drag and drop @USAF_Required and @USAF_Fighters into the ArmA 3 folder for just the fighters from this mod pack. We are doing this for those who just want specific planes instead of using everything.
