Rallii 1 Posted March 12, 2015 Mind is blown! It's great to see the solid color make a comeback in high quality! Great work on the gloves, they look too good with HQ texture weapons. The new night vision is amazing as well, has a more 'real' seeming feel to it. Well done :)

PTV-Jobo 820 Posted March 12, 2015 Night Vision illuminates Goggles This is one of the big reasons I decided to give it a download and try it out. Unfortunately it doesn't appear to be working on my end just running this mod and CBA and the current stable build of ArmA. I do use like AGM and other mods like RHS, so that's why I also went back and tried with vanilla and don't seem to notice anything different with Nightvision (from your mod and not the BIS made ones). I basically tried a few of the many types of NVG's the mod gives us and combinations (which I love by the way). Used the NVG's with the clear lense goggles for example and putting them down in 3rd person I just didn't see anything different or new other than the NVG effect (wide view area, scanlines, etc). Does anyone else have a picture or something of what I should be seeing?

Does anyone else have a picture or something of what I should be seeing? When using Night Vision during day or night, when illuminated the lens will turn green and show the FX. It isn't as consistent due in part to the fact that we've yet to figure out ambient illumination. That said, the variety of NVG's provided are to cover usage of a user wishing to customize completely. The NVG FX you want to see is shown on third person, that's where you will see this but it must be shown where the character is illuminated via light source. Hope that helps Yokhanan. ketsucorp 22 Posted March 13, 2015 Thank you all for your support! If you would suggest which camouflage we intend to do next we will start work on it. We've got ABU, ACU, AOR1, AOR2, NWU, MARPAT Winter, MARPAT Woodland, MARPAT Desert, Multicam, Urban, 3-Color Desert, 4-Color Woodland. If you would like to see which one comes next in the same level of quality as the above we'll be happy to oblige. We're rather fond of doing Multicam as the next possible pack! Thoughts? :)

J. Schmidt 10 Posted March 13, 2015 I'll be working on the whole ambient lighting for the NVGs soon, so people can see a very faint radiant green glow even without having to be next to a light source. (BTW if anyone is wondering J. Schmidt is also me, and I'll be asking the Moderators to change my forum name to that soon.)
Coflash 10 Posted March 13, 2015 IMO you should put up more media on this page + your Armaholic/ModDB page. It's the #1 thing that attracts me to mods and I only stumbled onto this thread as someone linked me to it. You've got a lot of quality stuff, but it's rarely on show in the form of images/videos. I completely agree. However, I'm not sure why but the image links I post get parsed into URL's with a (123 kb) text next to them. Any idea how in the coming hours we can achieve getting some imagery out for you all?

ketsucorp 22 Posted March 13, 2015 Imgur would be a nice way to put a lot of images in one place. Also, any chance of this getting a play withSIX mirror? We have a gallery on imgur but the problem is tagging it so bbcode won't parse it incorrectly here. We've discussed repository hosting and if anyone is willing offer a professional series of solutions to see it hosted in the meantime please PM me. I will be looking into this I think for the future. The only reason we're concerned about doing it is that the mod is super compressed on moddb at 500MB give or take. Unpacked it is nigh on 5.5GB, and that is something we must think about when it comes to the user. The project is incredible, but it's a project that is so large it will eventually dwarf A3's native file size.
zooloo75 834 Posted March 13, 2015 We will also be creating a website for GEAR (as well as for KetsuCorp). It will contain lots of media, downloads, and other goodies.

m1n1d0u 29 Posted March 13, 2015 I've got a question , for the futur are you planning to do a pack without any flag ? like a generic one so anyone of any country can use your pack ?
ketsucorp 22 Posted March 13, 2015 I've got a question , for the futur are you planning to do a pack without any flag ? like a generic one so anyone of any country can use your pack ? We're actually likely to do other countries if they are requested. Our texture work is high demand so if you feel your country is a project we should work on contact us directly via PM and we'll see what could be done. What we wish to do is just make that vital move towards making A3 vanilla content more playable, so if you have that in mind let us know what you would like to see. miketim 20 Posted March 14, 2015 Will you guys be allowing this to be mirrored, such as on Play with six? Because it seems you "want" us to download it from ModDB... which I havent seen used for arma mods since like, arma 1 And also alot of groups, especially (if your target here is groups as you seem to have said) use play with six to manage central collections for their group, so that would be a great community benefit. Also ModDB downloads can be quite slow and unreliable in my experience (looking at you corrupted stalker mod downloads ;))

I think that is a good idea. And you're right, but I just fear that a 5.5GB file to start with is immensely troubling for team leaders to buy into, as opposed to a 500MB .rar.
