Heyho,

could you change the scope of all objects that are not inteded to be created (all objects that are just for inheritance) to scope=0;.

That prevents accidental placement via script/editor and possible A3 crashes.

Hey Neo, Sure! Actually I thought scope=1 was making it "inaccessible". (https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/CfgVehicles_Config_Reference#scope)

Yes, inaccessible from all Dialogs/Ingame editor. But it diesn't prevent it from beeing created by "createvehicle".

A "No entry" message pops up like this:

bin\config.bin/cfgvehicles/SmallFire.scope

FYI,

- PLP BeachObjects v0.9.1(from PWS) loaded only, no other addons

- w/three DLCs: Zeus, Cart, Heli

- The previous version(v0.7.1?) had none. Maybe it was introduced recently or Something went wrong with my system recently.

Any idea?

Any fix for this yet?

EDIT: Had to remove the pic duo to this is my first post..lol....

Updated to v1.0 - at last

- Addon is now signed

- Fixed Position of Beach Torch-Fire

- Fixed "No entry SmallFire.Scope"-Error

- Added Bottles, Glasses, Cigars and Lifebelt as Inventory Items

- Added La Rosa Crate

- Replaced Life Belt with better Model

- Added Lifebelt (Leaned)

- Changed Object-Scope of Base-Classes to 0 (Thanks NeoArmageddon!)

- Added direct Mapbuilder-Support (Set mapbuilder_filter)

- Several Model modifications

- Several Texture modifications

- Several LOD-Tweaks

Poolpunk, excellent work!

I saw more freezes with Beach Bar (Wiki Wiki) than empty Beach Bar.. because of lights?

And can you add at this bar more furniture inside (table,chair,crates,icebox etc)?

PS I like the Turned on radio:clap:

And how can I turn off the radio in script? I found it only with 'enablesimulation false'

Can TV in Wiki-bar show anything?

Probably it's a mistake with some classnames in 'beach.txt'. So, the vertically standing surf ('Surfboard B (Standing)' - right?) - is called 'plp_bo_SurfboardBStanding', 'plp_bo_SurfboardBFront' actually. Also 'plp_bo_BeachBar' instead of 'plp_bo_BeachBarWikiWiki'

It'll be a great idea to make a template with this bar. for example, I placed radio at bar's table with radio's init: this setdir (45 + (getdir bar)); this setpos (bar modelToWorld [-2.8,-5.3,-1.08])

Excellent work PP keep going mate this stuff is a blessing for map makers, there's not slot of custom content around and your work is of a great standard. Well done Sir!

@Inlesco - Thanks! Uploaded PLP Beach Objects yesterday. I think i will upload the next addons, too.

@Anrio - Oha! Freezes?! With no other addons loaded? Furniture will be occasionally added when PLP Interiors will be out. The "Turn off"-Radio-Bug annoys me a lot, too. I have no idea how to make it instantly stop playing (except for makin a full script for it - any Volunteers? :) ). Unfortunately i have mistaken the Modelnames/Classnames for the Surfboards and didnt want to change them again. (In case so. had already used it for a Terrain f.E. I only corrected the descriptive name.

@Aus - Thanks again! Iam rather slow (due to RL) but will keep going for sure. Am in love with OFP/ArmA since the beginning and will be in the future, i suppose.

Radio as object was "taken" from fireplace (with actions like "cancel fire"), wasn't it? There's sound_fire when fire is inflamed and no sound otherwise. Maybe it's an idea? To bind sound_playing_radio with sound_fire somehow...

I only corrected the descriptive name.

In 'beach.txt'?

It will be enough

Updated to v1.1

- Made Bottles, Beach Balls and several other, static objects destroyable
- Added several objects as moveable objects in new categories
- Added all Inventory Items to La Rosa Crate
- Added new Textures for orange Parasol and Inflatables
- Added Radio (60s) as static object
- Added Roadway-LODs to Bar Tables

Is someone there who get this 'no entry' message while running Arma 3 v1.50?

Only PLP's work loaded other than BI's DLCs, of course.

 

Maybe BI changed something inside again with the game update to keep addon makers busy as before. :)
