Die Alive 0 Posted September 27, 2002 Didn't Krusty the Clown get knighted? Â Â It was in the Kamp Krusty Episode. If you're a doctor and you get Knighted, do you call yourself "Sir Dr. Joe Shmuck" or do you drop the Dr. all together? Damn, I look all over the net for info on British knights and all i get is info on running shoes. -=Die Alive=-
ralphwiggum 6 Posted September 27, 2002 I think it would be Dr. Sir Joe Somebody. LOL! british knights shoes... try this

Die Alive 0 Posted September 27, 2002 Ok, according to this book guide to Etiquette (800+ pages of a totally anal guide to life), the Knight is adressed as "Sir Joe Blow", however, the wife of a Knight is always "Lady Blow", never including her first name. Its like she loses her first name when the guy gets knighted. -=Die Alive=-
Badgerboy 0 Posted September 27, 2002 It would be 'Lady Blow' when formally addressed. She still can use her full name, but would be addressed as Lady Blow, or my Lady in a formal situation.
