Chairborne 2594 Posted August 23, 2014 I don't know yet. This last update has been a HUGE disappointment, as of now i can't even get the tools to work correctly. I am not really motivated to go any further if BIS doesn't wake up and starts fixing this game for good.
wansec_6 200 Posted August 24, 2014 Chairborne, perhaps Bis are waiting for the community to come up with the necessary fixes.
Chairborne 2594 Posted August 24, 2014 The game has been out for over a year now, if we count alpha and beta. We shouldn't be still discussing about game-breaking issues that make tools or parts of the game completely unoperable. It's like BIS doesn't even take time to test its stuff before patching the game because everytime there are EVIDENT issues. Now i am forced to waste MORE time just to fix tools that were completely fine before. Just to prove my point, if you open the feedback tracker you'll find tons of people complaining that the last stable patch broke multiplayer with massive lag and desync. It's exactly what I ask my self everyday! How is it possible to constantly add problem more than fixing problem?! I understand coding is difficult, but they should evaluate their strategy, because they do a lot of work for nothing...
Avarax 10 Posted August 24, 2014 Can you port m2a2 bradley ?
Wilco 944 Posted September 6, 2014 I've been preaching the upgraded A2's since I first saw the 25 model in II. Someone needs to take this model and run with it and add the A2 armor configuration. My pig. I have a ton of personal photos. Just let me know. http://i.imgur.com/kdZFeW1h.jpg
Chairborne 2594 Posted September 6, 2014 That is actually being worked on by me and another modeler. Do you have any accurate list of the differences between A1 and A2 by chance?
Wilco 944 Posted September 6, 2014 That is actually being worked on by me and another modeler.Do you have any accurate list of the differences between A1 and A2 by chance? Hah well off of the top of my head: No window ports on the left/right side of hull. Blast shields(up-armor addition) added to top of turret. Stronger shocks (not a big deal) Pintle mount changed (can get you some shots of that) All around up-armor added to hull (again can give you shots of that) Sights upgraded Tires are wider (again, pictures) That's off of the top of my head, I'm sure there is more. Chairborne 2594 Posted September 6, 2014 Everything does, of course if you can provide pictures that would be awesome. Also if you could provide pictures of the interiors (especially the crew compartment) that would come in handy. I googled everywhere but there is little to nothing for the interiors, even worse when i looked for the command variant. p.s. assuming there isn't any non-disclosure policy eheh! ;)
Wilco 944 Posted September 6, 2014 Sure thing. Where I'm at right now doesn't have a C2 variant. I can get some photos of a 25 scout compartment though no problem. We don't have any desert LAV's by the way. Most are coming back from GE just plain OD green.
Chairborne 2594 Posted September 21, 2014 UPDATE - 21/09/2014 v0.3b Another small hotfix. This fix should make the LAV compatible with AGM. I was told the LAV-25 couldn't use both ammunition types with AGM, now it should be correct. Plus, now it also has FCS enabled. Changelog: V0.3b - 21/09/2014 -AGM autocannon compatibility -AGM FCS introduced DL: https://www.dropbox.com/s/umv92ztp0rahdiv/%40Cha_Lav25.rar?dl=

eggbeast 3673 Posted October 22, 2014 (edited) i know it's bad form to ask for stuff, and i'm not really doing that.... just some ideas again from our A2 work... the commander pintle on the turret could do with an M240 we have edited the ammo, mags and weapon for this vehicle in rangemaster -feel free to borrow inspiration from it. our bushmasters are properly evil! Edited October 22, 2014 by eggbeast
Chairborne 2594 Posted October 22, 2014 I don't get it, there is already a version with m240. Am i missing something?
eggbeast 3673 Posted October 22, 2014 nah we havent added it yet to the a2 version but its in the list to do, we did bring the barrel depression right down though and ass APDST and other ammo to it and programmed burst modes. the commander gimpy is an obvious must-have though and fairly easy to add http://www.defencetalk.com/pictures/data/3664/LAV_25-01.jpg http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/57/LAV-25_Thailand.JPEG
Chairborne 2594 Posted October 22, 2014 But THERE IS a version with M240 on pintle mount in my mod. http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=26184 (third pic) I still need to fix some issues but it's there. As for weapon modes and all that, i tend to use A3 original data as much as i can because things keep changing and i don't want to go mad over unexpected bugs after every patch for the time being. Did i not understand what you're asking maybe?

deltagamer 612 Posted January 8, 2015 I saw your youtube video and you talked about what you had in store for the future - great vid btw. If you want to get the FFV working for the LAV-25 check the thread below I created. It was done with a LAV 3 so it would be really easy to get it working with the LAV-25. Hope it helps :) http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?186260-FFV-GunnerActions
Chairborne 2594 Posted January 8, 2015 Well i'm glad at least i wasn't the only one who thought about it. Thanks for the heads up. ;)
