LEA - Loadout Editor for ArmA 3

Recommended Posts

Thank you for this! I only have one question, I play arma 3 in single player mostly (Dynamic universal war system). How can i give my AI squad different loadouts? I tried various things but nothing seems to work. Do i really have to use the mission editor or is there another simplier solution like "apply loadout to squad" or something similiar? Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply, the only solution is to edit their loadouts. Be aware that the mission has to be in the 2d editor format otherwise LEA won't work.

Having a strange problem with LEA. I've used it before both in A2 and A3, so I feel I know how to operate it.

I cannot import new mission.sqms. I get the mission title at the top of the window, but nothing is loaded. No AI, no Players, nothing. My older missions that I had previously created .lea files for still work, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to import new missions now. Any ideas?

New mission.sqm generated by the Eden editor that comes with Apex are different form the old one 2D Editor. So LEA is now complete broken.

As one can now edit the loadout within the Eden mission editor I think it doesn't worth the effort to maintain LEA anymore.

Appreciate the update. Was wondering if I was crazy or not. I noticed you can edit in the editor, though I feel LEA is probably easier, with importable profiles, and the simplicity of being a normal window, not an ingame system. Oh well, thanks for the information.

Was a brilliant resource MS. Thanks for keeping this updated. Had hours of fun building profiles in A2.

Is there any hope of having this tool to automatically import mods so that we don't have to struggle with getting a complete load of mods into the files to be able to utilize this for building unit configs and crates configs? There are items from several mods that even though I have followed the instructions they are not showing up in LEA to be able to be used and many times the uniforms still have open inventory even though LEA reports that the uniforms, packs and vests are full.

Use the virtual arsenal, LEA maintenance is now stopped.

Thanks for the information. It was a great tool while it lasted. Wish it was still working.

@major_shepard LEA was an invaluable tool for my community back in our A2 days, as well as the early days of A3. Thanks for everything!
