FHQ missions have a nice special touch, here it is the video i made while playing flycatcher on CiA servers.

Question, if there is no revive, or respawn which is cool, how do you deal with the aimbot, killer AI?

Most missions have Psycho's AIS in.

As for the aimbot AI we highly recommend using ASR AI. As a matter of fact, I don't want to play vanilla AI anymore. We use ASR AI and TPW suppression on CiA, which works really well.

Added fhq-arma3-coop-pack_v1-8 from Armaholics to the lol dedicated server & have to say a lot of them are broken. The convoy mission after blowing up all vehicles says mission failed, after getting to the extraction point the boat came right up the beach knocked over & killed squad members then mission would not end when survivors got on the boat. In the mission ping pong player could not take control of UAV, could not take "football" case at all & if you go to extract point there were numerous Prometheus subs? And sadly no revive?

Is it a dedicated problem, or did the last patch screw things up. And is there an update?

I've a feeling its a dedicated server problem as when I tested on my own PC things (like flying the UAV in ping pong) did work.

All missions are dedicated server compatible, so they should work. I don't know for sure if the Armaholic pack is up-to-date, though.

We have played all of the missions on CiA and they worked there, it might be that some addons you are using are interfering although that isn't very likely. It might be that there have been updates in the meantime that broke some of the missions. Most of the missions are rather old in the meantime, so it might be an interim update that causes problems.

I'll investigate.

Maybe the Armaholic archive doesn't contain the latest versions ? I remember that there was a problem with Ping Pong that you described (suitcase can't be picked up etc), but that was fixed in a subsequent version

I'll repack them all and send them to Foxhound for update... still hoping that Armaholic will get that possibility for maintaining your own submissions soon...

LoL server's only Addons are the AiA_TP, CBA, and @asr_ai3 no others. the server is "House of Clowns" I did unpbo & try & fix a couple, but the missions use a ton of FHQ.sqfs & not the usual trigger, modules & briefs, which don't seem to like anyone changing stuff. did get ping pong working but could not take the "football" I would not be surprised if is was not the last bis patch with some name changes that's the cause of the problem.

p.s. Did not see the Psycho's AIS revive in the 3 I unpbo'd at all?

The mission should end there. These subs are your extraction.

Regarding revive, this is purely a submerged mission, it's not possible to revive underwater using the numerous community revive scripts, and even if it were, it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense.

Don't know if you have tried them lately? but there seems to be a lot of problems, things like, could not take the football at all in ping pong mission & should there really be a Prometheus sub for every player! one at depth of 40m & the rest on the surface.

Would really like to have these missions working its an interesting collection, not a criticism just a plea for help.:butbut:

FHQ didn't include revive in the early missions in the pack because there was no good option such as psycho's revive back then. I agree this pack is too good to be left in a bugged state and I move to support your call to see it updated! :D some of the best missions in the community are included in this pack.

Mountain King was I think my first or second mission for Arma 3, at least very very early. I don't think there was a Psycho's revive at that time :)

I'd be grateful for a list of what is actually wrong, because we had played all these missions on dedicated without a hitch. Well I *do* remember there was the issue with the duplicated subs at the end of Ping Pong, but everything else worked. A list of issue would be nice, I could go over them and verify what causes them.

The issues that I can remember are;

"co08_fhq-ping-pong.altis" mission. UAV diver did not have a control unit. (still could not fly the UAV when I fixed the name change & put one in sub, Darter yes) could not take the "football" suit case at all to finish the mission.

"co06_fhq-convoy-rogain.stratis" stopped the convoy blew up all the vehicles & mission failed came up? went to extract point to see what would happen & boat turned up came right up onto the shore & killed players, surviving player got into boat & mission did not end.

"co06_fhq-point-insertion.stratis" some players when selecting "get out" of attack boat flew up into the air then fell & died, that has happened in another mission but cant remember which one.

There are a couple of missions that did seem to run ok, not tested the large player missions (more players required I mean, not missions for fat people:) ) as usually not more than 10 players on LOL at the same time.

I personally found with ArmA 3 using the old ArmA 2 stile of mission making is far less buggy, a lot of it still works (not all) & Bis are less likely to mess with it. But it does take longer....:j:

Added new mission, "Kavala Lost".

 

Mission is a night time escape/survival mission, reach the coast, find boats and escape, without GPS and NVG's and with an overwhelming enemy force.
