That's true and that's only my fault that it takes so long. It's a simple change, just needs to be "processed".

We won't achieve the perfect setting on our own, but there's no point in having some defaults when majority of players has to tweak them. Should be the other way around. The goal is to reasonably integrate and cover the most common cases (without removing the possibility to go beyond them.)

imho the AI is kinda dumb, nuff said...

Yeah, a modern super computer has about the intelligence of a fly, and a personal computer PC is well below that. So, what's your point? Given the current state of technology, there's no way an AI could even come close to emulating a human opponent.

But, given those restrictions, the Arma AI is really amazing. It's leaps and bounds beyond anything I've ever encountered in another game.

How about implementing a menu option in the Game Difficulty settings that will let us Switch/Turn OFF the Players Squad AI "Auto-Danger" Mode.

The current setup you have for the player squad AI combat modes is BAD, VERY BAD!

It should be an option that players can simply turn on and off in the game difficulty settings for the Auto-Danger combat mode. Do you know how frustrating it is when your AI refuse to leave Stealth/Danger mode even though you have ordered them out of it hundreds of times but they refuse to listen. Then you are unable to move quickly with your squad because they refuse to follow you directly. Instead the move from tree to tree, bush to bush, rock to rock, house to house, pebble to pebble, crouching, going prone, crouching, going prone, barking out what they are doing non-stop, "Covering, Moving, Scratching an ichy spot I cannot name", even though there are NO enemies around and you are on a TIME LIMITED MISSION which you CANNOT complete alone and SHOULD NOT have to because your damn AI squad REFUSE to change combat modes even though YOU as THEIR squad leader have made the decision its safe to do so (whether it is or not doesn't matter, YOU are the SQUAD LEADER).

So you have only a few minutes left in your mission and have to move 500 or 600 meters to get into position to take out Target "A" but cannot do so with your squad because they suffer from some mental disorder and the mission fails.... All because your AI SQUAD refuses to change combat modes...

This needs to be addressed and fixed because it suxs for those of us who mainly play single player missions. It also suxs on multiplayer with player AI Squads...

Any of these ideas progressing? Is most of this still applicable after latest patches / Updates?

Been waiting for this fix or additional command for a long time! Probably won't happen which is too bad!
