Sorry to burst the bubble, but to my knowlage GTA:Vice City is too be a PS2 exclusive for 5 YEARS. Thats right people, you will have to wait 5 YEARS until it comes out on another system. Lets hope I am wrong.

I think it'll be released for PC maybe 6 to 12 months after the PS2 version. I don't think a 5 year exclusive to PS2 would be wise to any game for any platform. Isn't the goal to sell the most copies of the game? GTA3 came to the PC 6 or so months after the PS2 version, so why would Vice City be any differnt? I could see it being made only for the PS2, not the gamecube or x-box, because those are in competition with the Sony and the console market. But PCs should get a version 6 months.

It might be released for pc, the ps2 version will (normally) be released on 22 oct. So the pc version will probable be released about 4-6 months after that. BUT, GTA:Vice city wasn't made for PC at all, it is said that it'll be a ps2 only game. But they'll probable release it for pc too, just for the money

They'll probable never release it for Xbox or gamecube, gta games are waaaaay too popular for that

Badgerboy, what on earth are you talking about!!!! I have gta3 for pc and i have found NARY A BUG in it! no support? what kind of system do you have, a pentium 233 with a voodoo 2? It ran perfectly on my system, and i dont have a supercomputer. Yeah, i was a bit dissapointed about the mplayer, but it would of taken them a lot more time to implement that. And when you say it was bug ridden, what bugs did you find?

I wonder how much more difficult Vice City will be to buy, especially for the younger kids/teens. I've read artilces on how GTA3 isn't seeing the light of day in some countries, and some even have reduced the amount of violence in the game.

I think there's no need to put an M on games, it doesn't work anyway, if they'd really only give it to mature ppl then i'd just ask my dad to buy it for me

I believe some ppl overreact about this violence, a normal kid doesn't freak out because he shoots ppl in a game...

I run a XP2100, 512DDR, and a Geforce 3.

Therefore I shouldn't expect a frame rate of 8fps. How do I fix this? No answer from Rockstar. www.gta3forums.com is getting rather pissed off. Hundreds are turning up complaining. Eventually, a group of users create their own patches. Not brilliant but better than nothing. I fixed my problem by forcing software T and L, plus a small reg hack.

Strangely enough, I didn't have a problem on my Dual PIII 500 server, but on my games machine it crawled. Thousands of people with high end machines have had this problem, so don't tell me its not bugged. Come to mention it, hop onto the forum and tell people it isn't bugged, but wear asbestos.

And support?! Hah, after two months a patch arrives that lets you play mp3's, and actually allows some people to load the game up!
