If i'd ever buy an air rifle, i'd buy one that looks like the one Viper has, i prefer those rifles. I like the rather simple looking ones, only thing i'd want different is the way it reloads.

And i agree with Darklight.  But i dont mind about the reloading part. smile.gif

The advantage of the way mine reloads, is that basically when you reload, your filling the tank up with air.You dont need to pump it.So all you have to do is, break the barrel to insert a pellet, and the tank is filled with air already. But you have to be stong, and have to stick with pumping it, or if you let go, it springs back to the normal postion, and you have to start all over again. But i have no problem with it.(as im stong wink.gif )

And i can do it about 90 times before i get tired.

Its a high powered adult rifle, so you at least need to be 16 years of age to handle it.(what it says on the box)

i often fired with .22 rifles and pistol these last years , the .22lr caliber is great for training and for verifying your shooting aptitudes

i still have the pellet carbine i got when i was young , it was one like in the viper's one's style

in germany, we shoot without scopes. i think that's because we stand only 15m away from the targets which have the size of the bottom of a cup of coffee. smile.gif

well, everybody who ever watched olympic indoor airrifle-competitions on eurosport knows what i mean.

I know, my written english sucks biggrin.gif

Heres the same air rifle, just with a bipod. The $800 one. biggrin.gif<span id='postcolor'>

Theres a few other ones of a similar design to that one, gunpower stealth is what i think it was called and could be completely stripped down for easy carrying.

no. this rifle kinda looks so, but its too heavy for this sport. it wouldn't be very usefull because it isn't magazine-fed.

You are so lucky to have a air rifle! We here in Australia cant even have plastic replic's or we gwt 5 years in jail. As a kid we all had air rifles like the one you have but over the years the dogoooders took everything off us. Now we sit he unarmed ready to be invaded!! confused.gif

what about using boomerangs and spears??? they can't take away stuff like that smile.gif

and rifles aren't nescessary to kill something, as the following story proves.

once there was a fly in our training-"bunker". so a guy with an airpistol and i tried to shoot it. after several holes in the walls. i took a long pole and used it as a spear to get the fly and it worked!!! we were laughing so hard that we almost pissed in our pants biggrin.gif

Wow, you sure like your new air rifle! It is fun though, I don't use mine much 'cause I don't have time, but growing up on a farm in the UK I've been around firearms for a while. I have a .22 BSA Airsporter rifle and a .177 Webley Tempest pistol. However in our farmhouse gun locker are three 12 bore double barrel shotguns, one single barrel 24 bore shotgun, and one more .177 break barrel air rifle. We have both telescopic and laser sighting for the guns and also one night sight for night time bunny blasting... wink.gif

That must suck not being able to own an air rifle. All though, the kinetic energy or ft.lbs. at the muzzel on my air rifle is 16.21 ft.lbs. and in some countrys 12 ft-lbs of muzzle energy may be treated as firearms.

Yea i do. smile.gif but not as good as the real .22 long, magnum or 22-250 (uses the same shell as the M16A2 fires, just a .22 bullet.)But it shure is fun!icon7.gif and for alittle practicing, in my back yard.I just have to be alittle careful, cause this thing is loud! And the neihboors come running out of there houses to see whats going on.  biggrin.gif
