I tried to add to the virtual supply drop provider module init string to customize the box (as I do to other empty supply box placements) and all i get is the default loadout? am i doing this correctly? any help? What I did is just copied the init string in my static supply boxes that are working and pasted it in the virtual supply box modules int string. Is this how one should do it? kylania 568 Posted August 30, 2013 Notice that for the Crate init the affected crate is referred to as _this. Correction after further testing; If you delete the 2 modules used & replace with new (in missions with Supplydrop) they will work again.. Used: _this addAction["<t color=#ff1111'>Virtual Ammobox</t>", "VAS\open.sqf]; in the crate init tried synched with player and on trigger both not dropping the VAS. after hour of forum hopping cant find much on this hopefully someone here has a idea of how to fix it? To remove the ability to call in supports you could use a triggers onDeactivate to unsync the player from the requestor. If it was SP you could most likelly get away with just using the BIS_fnc_removeSupportLink but as the function unlinks requestor and providers globally it would mess up other players aswell. Add your support modules (requestor and providers) all synced up except for the sync to the players then create your trigger... Same goes for your hints. Another way to do it rather than using a trigger could be to add a killed event to the device.. Should be good unless you kill the device from a vehicle, as Killed EH may not report the killer properly. Same goes for your hints. I never thought to check that and thank you for explaining those things to me. Basically the whole idea started with a SP mission that contained many mini-missions as i was testing BIS-Fnc-Shownotification and task creation. After that i moved to hints with pictures and dialogs. long story short, i am trying to make it MP compatible. So i took all the mini-missions like the one above and try to make them MP-Compatible to be able to test them with some friends in the near future. I have added a dialog which you can buy the missions from a "Mission-Giver", which upon completion, you will earn points(i.e ["ScoreAdded",["Destroy the EMP",20]] call BIS_fnc_showNotification;) as used on the script. In turn those points can be exchanged for weapons and vehicles created randomly. Another way to do it rather than using a trigger could be to add a killed event to the device..I have moved it around a bit to make it dedicated friendly I thank you for that. It will help me to use it as template for my other missions and make sure to credit you for your help. Offtopic Question : Since i cannot create a new thread as i do not have 10 posts, is there a better way to make and run the following script ? It works fine as i am testing it on my PC.
