US Army & USMC Infantry Textures

Hey all.

Some of you may have seen these in screenshots in the photography thread, and I'm glad to release these to the community.

These add simple retextures of Bohemia Interactive's BLUFOR NATO Troops in Multicam representing ArmA3 time period US Army Infantry, and also Woodland and Desert MARPAT representing ArmA 3 time period United States Marines.

Installation

-----------

Create and put the files into a mod folder (Example @SBE\Addons\)

Add the folder to your launch options.

ie; -nosplash -world=empty -mod=@SBE

Then find them ingame under;

BLUFOR > US Army > Infantry

BLUFOR > USMC > Infantry Woodland

BLUFOR > USMC > Infantry Desert

Bugs

They should be ok now, but no doubt something else will come up :D

Big thanks to Bohemia Interactive for a moddable Alpha version of ArmA3. It's bloody great. Imagine what it will be like even at 'Beta'

Testing now....

I can't seem to grab the woodland marpart CBT or Recon outfit out of the USMC Woodland Gear box... Same with the Multi CBT and Recon outfit.

Just lettin you know.

here(some sort of weird shadow bug, making it look.. shiny)

I believe I have fixed the shiny problem, expect update links in around 2hrs, unfortunately my country Australian upload speeds leave alot to be desired :D

Congrats on the release Sabre,

was looking forward to the "elite" releasing there Retextures so i can see where i stand. I really like the retexture you did on the boots, they look really worn, like the rest of the uniform.

Updated the link in the first post with 0.2

The shiny look should hopefully be fixed when in shadows etc. At least it was when I tested it :D

Let me know if this is not the case.

I'll look into the equipment crate issue next, back into the dreaded config's we go. Will hopefully get that fixed tomorrow.

The "issue" you encountered is the new "feature" in lighting, render to texture as well as the rvmat settings, mine looked really shiny in the sun as well.

My awesome meter has pinged to over 1000% and then broke. I don't know how this is possible, but you did it, Sabre. Good job.
