Lagussi 9 Posted March 30, 2016 Should be obvious...the campaigns and battles between 1939 and early 1941 which includes of course the Winter War in Finland between November 39 and March 1940 :) but also Codename Case White, Operation Weserübung, the Battle / Fall of France and the Balkan Campaign April 1941. Wouldn't it be cool to see more of such cool fresh WW II scenarios like this one here ( Czechoslovakia 1938 ) Ah, so you meant Finnish Front as out of the scope of this mod? Finnish assets were quite colorful, we had namely stuff von Great Britain, Russia, Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, Netherlands, US, etc, etc., so lots of work to do, and not so much existing yet. But all these "non-standard-WW2-game-fronts" were indeed awesome to have, especially that Winter War with snow would be something new and fresh!
Gunter Severloh 4063 Posted March 30, 2016 Can anyone say OFP FDF WW2 ;)

ProfTournesol 956 Posted March 30, 2016 Considering the name of the mod, i highly doubt Finland is in their plan mate.
Lagussi 9 Posted March 30, 2016 Considering the name of the mod, i highly doubt Finland is in their plan mate. That's exactly, why I was originally wondering that list, where Finland was included too... But enough now, back to topic! Great work guys, really waiting for this. WW2 is so much more interesting than some future stuff ;-)

cali332 3 Posted April 1, 2016 I've got a pretty interesting question... The mortars of the WW2 weren't really accurate, and in arma 3 they hit their target to 100%... Could you edit the accurate so the projectiles get a spreading? Or wasn't it possible

cali332 3 Posted April 1, 2016 Why do you think were not accurate? PS: In ArmA 3 not mortars 100 % Well, it's a mortar. i correct me *they arent accurate. Maybe the technology was worse. I mean normally mortars can have a huge spreading. Especially for WW2 mortars. the today's technology calculates everything for you. :P WW2 had the risk of wrong calculating... Arma 3 isnt 100% ? but the area is extreme small..if i shoot with mortars they hit every target i want to hit as long as its not moving^^

Winrars 0 Posted April 2, 2016 It depends on the operator, not on the technique as well as today. Correct, even for modern artillery anything below 100mm calibre is usually calculated without an artillery computer. The range card, collimator and aiming post is still the most common method of calculation, especially among less modern armies.
