Dev Build Changes

A few things I noticed, which are really frustrating to say the least and I sincerely hope get resolved soon.

-Rain is removed from the weather systems

-Game Difficulty changes never save

Both changes I'm sure will be resolved eventually, but I want to make it known so hopefully it gets fixed sooner.

Also a video I recorded of a Window bug where bullets do not penetrate.

Seems the newest Dev build has made the game more... laggy, or stuttery. lol

About the rain, it might be gone because they are working on solving the issue, were it was raining inside houses ect. i don't see that as a major issue, but who knows.

Do you guys not understand this?

The Development branch has no limits; any of our team members is able to push out any part of the game at the moment. This means it has the potential to get updated every minute if our team is feeling particularly keen This has the high risk of resulting in versions on the Development branch that are malfunctioning (parts of it or even entirely). Any QA we introduce in this branch, means we have to sacrifice flexibility and it will end up becoming days between updates, to the point where the branch loses its use. If you are not wanting to deal with these risks, we recommend you do not participate in this branch.

No need for a forum post about it really. Simply make a bug report.

The rain visual effect has been (temporarily) disabled because we want to improve the effect. AFAIK this is a parameter in CfgWorlds, so community environments could enable it. We are not sure when we will have time to work on it, as it's not a priority for our setting.

Seems since the last dev update, it also when you go to a supplybox and change your primary weapon, for example if youre a diver and have water weapon, and go to supplybox and change to a MX weapon, then it switches to the pistol automaticlly so you need to switch back to your primary weapon. Did not do that before.

So short said, when you switch your primary weapon to a new one, then you equip your pistol when you exit the gearbox automaticlly

I can confirm the game difficulties issue, I'm personally using the config file to change it at the present time...

The bullet proof glass could be an issue, try shooting a pilot in a helicopter through glass front or side and it will fail, then shoot through the door and you will have a kill. (Be warned if u do this at base your friendlies will turn on you ;) )

Why a door should be bulletproof to a 6.8 bullet? oO

Yep and me. Used to run the Infantry Showcase on best graphics with about 30 fps and no mouse lag. Now on even lower settings I get really bad mouse input lag almost as if vsync is on. I hate vsync :|

Yeah, I'm getting major performance issues. I used to get great frames, and then after an update I just can't play the game with AI anymore, way too delayed, and stuttery, I can barely move. Here's hoping it gets patched out soon.

ok, 0.51, like 0.11, starts out fine for me, but eventaully I get bad stuttering. it seems to happen when the A.I. has to 'think' about something, but I'm not sure that has anything do to with it

i got strange stuttering aswell..the framerate is going up and down and i can't see any pattern or so.. even with vsynch off.. i played on tuesday with dev build and vanilla build , it was superb..now unplayable for me..

Am I the only one that with the latest Dev Build gets a "double radio calls bug" in the helicopter showcase?
