whisky 1 Posted March 11, 2013 I don't know if this is right place for it. I really love custom faces, and I am waiting for new faces, but you know... So I wish if someone can spare several minutes to convert this face to the new ArmA 3 face (which is much more simpler as far as I seen from the PBO's). I would really appreciate if someone would do it, but I will understand if no one will. BTW the new face template http://speedy.sh/CjTzj/face.png Thanks in advance. If someone could, that'd be great. I'l probably include more face versions later. Custom face template files. What you're basically speculating on, is that we might have to have a custom texture file for the body too to get custom facemaps to work? Do correct me if I misunderstood. AlexVestin 24 Posted March 12, 2013 (edited) My format was weird I noticed. I could not save them as TGA and TexView was unable to open the PNG files. Fixing it. In 10 minutes they'll be updated. Not sure if it fixes the blue skin. edit: Does not fix mr blue man. Atleast not when you're having one file named face.jpg only. mr burns 131 Posted March 12, 2013 I had a look inside ArmA3.exe, searching for traces of how it deals with face.* This came up: b¢R.face.jpg....face.paa....\players\...$...*.*.\sound\.È`..à .@.$æP.ò@.p`..,µR. Searching for more .jpg instances came up with nothing, so i don´t think adding body.jpg/.paa or legs.jpg/.paa is possible atm. Just made this uggly jpg:butbut: And put it in the "Arma 3 Alpha - Other Profiles" player name folder as per OFP & ArmA2 no other scripting or files involved. then changed the face to custom in Game as previous with options profile. TFM_Callas 1 Posted March 13, 2013 (edited) I don't understand how ya'll are doing this. I put in my profile to the right location just as you all say. Nothing in the face selection area. I even downloaded jgaz-uk's picture he did and nothing. So what are you doing that I'm not. I did my documents>ArmA 3 Alpha - Other Profiles> Venom and nothing happens in game. No custom face or anything. Ive tried .jpg files, .paa files and no luck. Edit:Also tried AlexVestins picture for the OP. Nothing. What Am I missing?
