Question is UPSmon still usable with ArmA 3?

 

If not is there an alternative?

SUPER usable.

 

I think you picked the wrong thread. cool=azroul13 made the A2-A3 trasnlation (and improvements!!) and you will be able to find it in that thread.

The last patch had a name change for the  "\A3\Structures_F\scripts\Door_close.sqf" used by UPSmon.

Could you please specify the file that has this script executed within upsmon? That way we could repair it ourselves.

@ hansson0728  what do you mean the script still works for me after the last update. what do you mean by a modified version that is really good.

well ive messed some with UPSmon and sometimes i get alot of script errors, different stuff, and the current Ver is quite old..  mostly it is working good, but you never know, maybe someone has a version thats been modded or something

Is there an alternative for UPSMON these days?  This script still works great for me in basic patrol....but the "fortify" options seem to be hit or miss. Sometimes guys will do such other times guys will simply walk way across the map non stop away from any marked zones.

Unfortunately the script is  very broken these days. Here is a good list of multiple partol scripts that I use in my missions it makes things a little less predictable when you use a few in a mission. No particular order of best to worst ?

 

1. Upmons mostly broken now.

 

2. Ups a big bug that units go into combat mode for no reason. If Used to use the no share parameter it works fine.

 

3. Usps still works with a good Random House search section.

4. GAIA works great but maybe too aggressive  maybe too good if you have a large number of groups.

 

5.EOS was good I have not used it in a while.

 

6. DAC  used a lot with Arma2 need to look at it again.

 

7 Alive never really used it for my missions. It's a big mod.
