Marcel's c47 transport plane is out!!!!!! However, there is no inside texture and no transparent glass, and u cant destroy the plane. (its not that good for cutscenes. )

I saw that at ofp.org. Its not out. Its very close to being finished. I just checked his site and he says he took it down and itll be ready and fixed up tomorrow.

I put it in a mission where u were a german soldier and the americans were supposed to paradrop soldiers to assault the base u were in. Then the c47 was supposed to get shot down so the paratroopers would go and try to rescue the pilot, while u had to go stop it. in the cutscene, it was supposed to show the c47 falling down. however, the missile just went thru the plane.

the REAL question here is... how'd the Germans get a SAM?

I got the plane to and I got him to cancel the release because of all the bugs. He will finished it tomorow he said. Post bugs on the forum.

Yeah Im an impatient bastard myself, but Marcell is one of the only guys pumping out WWII stuff and I think this will actually be the first paratrooper plane!... I think.

OMG!!! That IS BAD! Do you really think he can fix that by today??? Someone mentioned that the glass on the cockpit isn't even there. Is that correct? That would mean you couldn't even fly it correct? I have a feeling that the release today is not going to be a whole lot better unless he "did a Keg" and stayed up all night working on retexturing it and modifying the cpp scripts like a madman.

His WWII weapons are also in URGENT need of fixing as they have tons of texture problems. Unfortunately nobody has put them into Oxygen yet to fix them up which is a real shame.

The only good weapon I've seen from him that doesn't have serious texture problems is his MG42. Anyways I hope that maybe some of you guys with Oxygen can help give that man a hand in making sure that those addons come out right.

Aside from his weapons it would be nice if someone helped him make a proper interior for his Sherman tank.

They guy is obviously very talanted but it seems like he suffers from a problem that many addon makers suffer from...and that's working on too many different projects at once and releasing half-finished addons instead of concentrating on perfecting one addon at a time.

What surprises me is that he isnt part of Invasion 1944 team. I mean that guy is good. Well just checked his site and it isnt up yet but im sure itll be soon.

I'm very glad that he is not in I44 because then he would release his addons only when the whole I44 is done. It's very sad that I44 won't release their addons until the mod is done, I mean interest to the mod just disappears when nothing is released.

But hopefully Marcel releases soon this plane.

I just tried it out. Nice very nice. I like how it just starts taking off at about 99mph before you even pull back on the joystick. Keep up the good work!

Nice just tried it.

For next version could you make it louder. When you are on the ground and it flies over you you almost cant hear it. Have a flight show version flying around where i live and its makes a lot of noise.

I would have too agree with dkraver. You can hear the engines pretty loud when you turn them on for about a second but then it gets really quite. If i remeber correctly i believe those planes were noisy as hell.
