QG was installed using the installer from the downloadversion. It's running om a windows 2003 server.

I have tried that, and it didn't help.

I have the same issue. Mine is a downloaded Queens gambit. Also version 1.08.

The OICW picture suggests that you have defined a unique magazine for the OICW - you should just use the games built-in 20-round and 30-round STANAG-mags - in that way you will have ammo-compatibility like IRL.

The seakings will probably move into retirement this year. Therefore it's not worth putting much work into them. Frandsen - since the cayuse has been retired, could you place the MG62 gunners on a Fennec?

Cool down, we're not asking to change the default mission, we're just suggesting another selectable option. -

Yeah, I agree, if thats what you want to do - play with different people on different days. However, I don't want to do that and I suspect that a lot of team players (I loathe the term 'clan' in a military sim like this - how many Real Life Military clans are there?) would rather play on their own servers using it as training and be able to play as a unit rather than a group of individuals that only want to run and jump into a tank at the first opportunity or fly the helo into the ground. I have pretty much the same reason for mostly playing with my friends on a closed server. It's perfectly possible for 4 players to clear out several cities in an evening, but you're just more constrained if you have to keep a presence in the cities at all the time. On the "clan" thing: That's why there's a subforum called "ArmA - SQUADS AND FANPAGES". Traditionally OFP/Arma-clans are called squads to reflect the military simulational nature of the game. -

I read in one of the first posts that the enemy AI will respawn if you leave the city. Is this still the case? If it is, could a future version then have AI respawn as a selectable parameter? -
The BRDM-2 comes in a SAM-version which could be simulated using the AT-version. In that way you might test out the concept without making a new model.

You can use any weapon as any class - there are no enforced limits although some players enforce some on themselves. I haven't played the demo, but one way of trying other weapons would be to take them from dead men in the game. Try going to a dead man and select Gear in the context menu.

It is possible now: http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....t=61474 But I would prefer for BIS to make a bigger selection of the possible loadouts, since it makes the loadouts available to everyone which gets it included in missions. User-made addons has to be a part of a large well-known pack to get any 3rd party mission-support.

Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for ArmA
mads bahrt replied to dslyecxi's topic in ARMA - GENERAL
It actually is a proven real-world tactic. It is pretty much what the Long Range Desert Group (a forerunner of SAS) did to german/italian airfields in North Africa. And it is one of the tactics that the landrover-mounted SAS-patrols searching for Scuds in Iraq in 1991 used again with some succes. I think the tactic has it's merits in situations where an attack is unexpected the terrain is too open for infantry to get close to the target and the attack depends on being hit-and-run-style to succeed. -
Where do you download the NewView 37D? The newest I was able to find was 35.

in case of the built-in parachutes you couldn't steer them. You could choose which direction you were looking in, but thats it. There were made steerable parachutes as usermade addons though.

On the other hand, the OPFOR is better off in terms of most vehicles: BMP2 is in several ways preferable to the Stryker variants due to armor, "amphibiousness", and the fact that it combines weapons that beats the weaponssystems of all the 3 stryker variants. BRDM2 ATGM is better than the Hummer with TOW due to armor, "amphibiousness" and 5 missiles ready instead of 1. BRDM2 is better than the Hummer with M2 due to armor, "amphibiousness", better maingun and a light machingun for infantry. M1A1 and T72 is about equal in the game KA50 is better than the Supercobra i terms of number of guided rockets.
