road runner 4344 Posted July 2, 2013 Bink is there any chance you could release a grey scale/template of your crye stuff? Insta, these look pretty cool too
Beagle 684 Posted July 2, 2013 The reference camo pattern you see all over the web fpr MC is really bad quality and it might be on purpose. The 50/50 Rip-Stop NyCo that is used for most clothing never did look that faded, not even after 50 washing cycles. The pattern found on the net seems to be printed on the cheap 60/40 PolyCotton Twill and that cloth does not hold the colours well and look much lighter in sunlight compared to the 50/50 Nylon-Cotton mix

road runner 4344 Posted July 8, 2013 That's good news John. Without derailing Alex's thread too much, the standard of skinning these days is just getting better and better all the time, the old templates were fine for the original BIS models, but the characters being produced these days are high quality, and high quality textures, yours, Sabre's and Drew's are top notch stuff. I started skinning/texture creating many years ago with Ghost Recon-Original game, under the name "Argyll" and then dropped out of the modding scene to go and work in Iraq, 9 years later I'm still here doing security, but now have a LOT more time on my hands and have resurrected my interests in creating textures etc again. shadeops21 170 Posted November 27, 2013 (edited) Hey Alex, with the release of the four new official multicam variants, are you going to modify/create the textures for them? Drift_91 33 Posted October 3, 2016 Hey Alex, with the release of the four new official multicam variants, are you going to modify/create the textures for them? (Image taken from Soldier Systems, http://soldiersystems.net/2013/11/26/crye-precision-releases-new-multicam-patterns-and-reinvents-website/) -snip- I'm also wondering the same thing. Been using this pattern occasionally in various games since I found it on DeviantArt about a year ago. Hell, I was even able to make a Minecraft skin out of it with some basic tweaking of the scaling algorithm. Would love to see the new variants as this pattern has really come in handy. Drift_91 33 Posted July 16, 2021 @AlexVestin Sorry to bump this old thread, but the download links seem to be 404'd thanks to Dropbox disabling everyone's public folder back in 2017. Would it be possible to get new links? Thanks.
