RHS: Armed Forces of the Russian Federation 0.1.6 Released!(Updated)

This is probably a noob question, but... After downloading, I put all these new addons into my addons folder like I always do with new addons. I get the new screens in game, but I can't find RHS new units in editor. My older version of RHS T-80's disappeared, but nothing had replaced them. Help please

you should read up on using mod folders and launchers. Will save you a lot of headache.

Actually I am using mod folders. I have CBA folder where I put new addons. I put yours there as well. All other addons are working, but not these ones

RHMOD that comes in the archive IS a modfolder. You dont need to put the addons anywhere else.

Amazing work! High quality! Just wondering if you will be rejuvenating the Russian Air Force in the future. Perhaps modernize some of the older jets?

I think i found a Bug, the T80B (all of them) commander can't aim up/down, this makes it basically impossible to check distance with the sigths and assign targets to the gunner.

The sound of the engine is a bit weak, if i'm standing right next to one my footsteps are way louder, and it sounds more as if another tank would be driving somewhere in the distance.

I'm waiting this for a long time. Great work is finally out.

Now I have to test it in practice for real practice evaluation.

Oh and another bug - i shot a T80BVK in the rear hull, 7 hits with RPG-7VL When i entered it, all parts of the tank showed status red, but it was still fully operational.

And a minor thing - if the select UBR ammo in the BMP, it still shows as HE on the ammo counter.

Would be nice to have an indicator of what ammo you have loaded in the T80 too

This is unfixable game engine bug v_v, unless bis patch impossible to fix

I dont if this happen to others but the game crashed twice while testing the mod.

Usually this never happens.

Looks a great looking pack, iam always been interested in the Russian army, as you have done this for the OA version is there any chance this can be done or used in the ordinary arma 2 version on the chenarus maps like the EVO RED etc. It would be great if you did.

The mod will always require Arma 2: CO because OA allows for alot of good extra features that need to be cut out in order to be compatible with normal Arma 2. You can still play on Chernarus with Evo Red, we do. But for anyone who likes A2 there is really no excuse not to have AO, its a MUST HAVE. In my eyes its like asking us to make the mod for Arma 1 :)

Dude just buy OA, it's not very expensive and it adds some pretty usefull engine features.

Thank you RHS people, you are the best! I do not have to use super glue, duck tape and welding apparatus to have the Russian Federation giving already great Blufor mods a sporting chance. This will be a mission maker mod. I love it! Thank you guys, for keeping it Vanilla. And thank you for making a separate ACE config for those that prefer that mod. I love all of it, and looks forward to future releases. THANKS!

Nice, thanks W0lle, new missions are always welcome especially if they remind me of the OFP classics i played a hundred times :)

Btw, does anyone by chance still have the mission from OFP that features RHS russian troops that had to guide a convoi to a target destination within 45mins?

You could tell it to stop or move and it was neatly designed so it was hard to do it in 45mins but definaly possible... would be very awesome to have that one in A2 aswell.

Especially as i have a bunch of good russian voiceovers for it that werent used back then.

Cant remember how it was named and who made it... many years since then :o

I maybe found it: Escort Service, playing on good old Trinity Island. The mission I have using no RHS units though.

"You must escort a convoy from Liberty Airport to Statton Port within 45 minutes. Every vehicle in the convoy must survive. There are eight convoy drivers; if more than 4 convoy drivers are killed your mission will fail.

The first truck is already filled with weapons. The second truck is filled with ammo, including Jeep MG and Blackhawk ammo.

Squad Leaders can order the convoy to start, stop and repair.

Entering the enemy spawn area is punishable by death."

One bug here : The BMD-1 has no ATGM rocket, only the launcher rail is there on its turret.
