Hi Tanaka, Just some advice when you post a long code like your rpt, go to the bottom right of the post,a dn click on "go advanced"

I suggest you reedit our post, but basically highlight your whole rpt you listed,a dn then hit the button ---> # on the post edit tab,

what this will do is put the rpt in a window that will allow whomever to scroll versus making your post a mile long, it will condense it into a window.

Anyways as for your issue looks like your client is ok, rpt shows the standard errors we all get.

Thanks for that translation derdoe,

from what i gather from the error message, which is a standard message if you try to run a mission without the required files, my guess is that the files aren't loading.

As i said in my previous post Im familiar with gameservers, and have no idea on how linux is run, or the program your referring to in your one post Ubuntu,

you you link me to it so I can get a better Idea on how it runs?

Also when you run the same mission client side as seen in you rpt, you dont seem to have any issues, my guess its this Ubuntu your using that

somehow dont see the files or is not loading them, I really cant say.

Recently ive deactiavated and reactivated the mod and some how ended up getting this error on initialization and also fails the game to start:

Ive tried to install with 'Play With 6' but continue to get the error..

My question is does PW6 give me everything from I44 v2.6 through to the latest updates or does it require that 2.6 is installed prior... if so where can i download 2.6 only as all other links seem to be updates?

First thing you do is wave good bye to Play With Six, and revert back to Six Updater. Second thing you do, is download I44 and live happily ever after.

Seeing that both SU and PwS use the same download source, I don't get the advise.

Also PwS is more optimized, faster, lighter, and if you run into any issues we would be delighted to hear about them and solve them; http://play.withsix.com/support

Have you tried running a Diagnose on the I44 mod? You can do so in the Mod list.

Is the default mod installation path still in place? My Documents\ARMA 2, or was it changed?

I've tried to reproduce it in a few ways but was unable to, e.g even if ARMA2 Original is not loaded, there are no such errors.

I think the issue can occur when combined with other mods, or otherwise some corrupted/missing files.

I had the error before using PW6 and so removed the mod and tried using PW6 (for the first time, very nice software for Arma!)... but the error remained, i believe it is error on my behalf somewhere somehow with corrupted files or most probably a conflict as you suggested.. ill test again.

PwS downloads the full mod, that is the entire point of it so you don't have to find previous versions, or update to the latest with the correct patch for your version. However if you already have an existing I44 that is NOT compatible with 2.62, and install manually over the top of it (for example if you patched the 2.0 version to 2.62) you'd definitely have problems.

I would suggest you remove all I44 files and redownload directly through PwS without attempting to manually patch any of it.

I can' t have Server RPT because my server is a linux, but i have my client RPT ? :

Please do not paste full RPT files in the main text body of your reply it makes it very hard to read the thread with a stack of code and error reports in the middle of the page. If you do need to paste a lot of text either use '

' brackets or a linked external site like pastebin.

The client rpt is of no use in this case, I'm pretty sure Linux servers should still produce a log file somewhere (no idea where though it should definitely be possible to produce both rpt and log files for troubleshooting) so you might need to bug either the hosting company or some other server admins to find out where or how this is done. But by the sounds of it your server is NOT loading the mod. Most likely the mod shortcut line is incorrect, probably giving the wrong location to where I44 is installed on the server machine so it doesn't load when the server is started, which results in the server being unable to load I44 based missions.

Oh, yeah? Well all I heard about PW6 was bad stuff, and it didn't behave TOO nice either. Could be me, but just with the new and old (console/browser) SU, I kept using the old thing until there was no other way out. Works JUST FINE though.

Don't believe everything you hear (or read), unless you hear it from us ;) :p

I am not sure where this comes from - I have heard it on various forums that somehow Pw6 and SU screw up Arma, cause you to get BE banned, causes cancer, is responsible for most of the troubles in the Middle East and all kinds of other nonsense! None of this is true. They both make installing I44 (as well as a lot of other mods) a breeze. I have been using them for a long, long time (SU particularly) and have never had any issues. Pw6 especially is so easy to use it's a no-brainer to use it.

Also, whenever the guys here release updates to I44 - Pw6 will just download the differences, you will never have to download the whole thing again unless they re-pack every pbo!

Yep, PwS is very easy to use : the first time i used it was for the I44 patch, i only copied and paste my old IEE folder in the PwS default one (to keep things clean), PwS recognized it and updated it without any trouble. Best community tool IMHO.

2 or 3 positive people is hardly conclusive. I'm not too fond of PWS. Just yesterday, for instance, the default install location had somehow reverted back to "My documents" on my SSD disk, where I don't want any mods installed because of limited available space. I want my mods where they have always been, in the OA folder, which is located on another hard drive. I thought there was just an update to I44 being downloaded, but all of it was installed again. :j:

I can see how it's useful for those of you who use a lot of mods that gets updated often, but I would prefer if there also was a way to manually install the infrequent I44 updates. Right now, I44 is the only mod I use.

That's your case, but it's hardly conclusive too...one mod only, unfrequent updates etc.

Johan S; Weird issues like these don't automatically report or fix themselves.

However the loss of custom configured path is definitely unintended.

A simple question: how can I use my team's medic?

In vanilla ArmA2 OA, if I select the medic and press 6, I can choose Heal one of my wounded man. But in Inv44 my medic cannot heal wound, except I switch on him and do it myself with medic pack. How can I order my AI medic to do the same?

Considering there's an unique healing system... I don't think you can order him, unless the mission has a work-around for this...

When using our wounding system, as mentioned in the documentation (that big pdf file that no one ever finds) you cannot heal AI units, the system is PURELY intended for players. If you want AI to heal and be healed, don't use the module.
