ACE for OA 1.12

Nope, since many versions already.

Thanks sickboy, I stopped to use ACE2 since many versions, too, but I'm sad with lost compatibility, again..:butbut:.......

Is there a way to change the cqb key as I can't seem to see it in the ace key settings or the ordinary controls?

How would a person go about changing this?

Nothing we can do about it, and no idea re "again".

"again" is the episode of broken radio removed accidentally, a long long time ago, other problem is change default weapons of USArmy in a old version of ACE, today, nuke support removed...

I'm sad with missions that stopping to work, are my sons..:D

But, is past.

I advise you to map it on rightklick+STRG

That way you don't need to take your hand off the mouse or the WASD keys and you can switch sights very fast and intuitive

im using ASR AI and the new ace version and im having problem with weapon switch/selection in the briefing

it changes to the original even on non ace campaigns..:\

Hi sickboy,

yesterday on BC i was not able to spawn ammo boxes via the admin commands.

How is this supposed to work? Just spawns an ammo crate right in front of me?

When using the option, nothing happened.

Sounds like a bug, please file a ticket with exact repro steps.

In any case you're pretty much recommended to use the RTE by i0n0s for that.

No, what the ticket tells you is:

1. it's a known issue

2. what is the cause

3. it's assigned, not yet resolved

4. it is planned to be solved sometime between now and 1.13

I'm getting the following message when running ACE.

I did load ACEX_Navy and ACEX_RU..anyone know what this issues is about.

Addon 'ace_main' requires addon 'acex_ru version or higher' .

I loaded all 1.12 stable ACE, ACEX and ACEX addons.

The message should be generated by CBA dependency system.

But it makes no sense, for starters, @ACE (ace_main) has no dependencies on acex_ru nor usnavy.

Not to mention that there is no 1.15 version yet, evidently we're only at 1.12 :)

Secondly the format seems strange, either you still haven't copied 100% exact message, or the dependency system is wrongly used.

Sounds like a problem caused by other addons or modified ACE.

Try loading only the ACE mods like this:

-mod=@CBA;@ACE;@ACEX;@ACEX_RU;@ACEX_USNavy

If you have any custom mods in ArmA 2\Addons or ArmA 2\expansion\addons etc, please remove them.

If still an issue, it's probably caused by faulty userconfigs, try deleting userconfig\ACE, and unpacking userconfig.tar from the official distribution.

Otherwise please review http://ace.dev-heaven.net/wagn/Support and create a ticket with the requested details like the RPT file.

So I recently downloaded 1.12 since the last version I played was a fairly early one on OA (probably the first stable on OA actually).

I have to say that it has changed a lot (for the better) and I actually enjoyed it.

I love all the content in ACE_X/ACEX_RU and I love the Rocket Ballistics/Weapon resting system.

Props ACE team.

Pretty much self-explanatory - you're running those extra mods without @ACE (the core mod).

Loaded in the command line beginning with @ACE;@ACEX;@ACEX_RU;@ACE_USNAVY.

Any other reason why, I downloaded from a mirror in armaholic twice.

Ticket please. Without RPT, it's hard to determine what went wrong. Perhaps you have @ACE in your shortcut, but the actual folder is not there or it's structure has been altered.

That makes more sense yet is still rather strange, as it lists ace_main as supposedly missing, yet you did not mention any startup error saying "acex_main requires ace_main" etc.

In any case, make sure your game is updated to the very latest version (1.59 official patch currently), and that you run the ArmA2oa.exe - not the old A2 :)
