This, the camera showed that the game continued even though you where dead, the quotes added some 'education' to war and such, I never felt punished when killed, it was just another part of the game. It's not JUST the song, it's the whole thing put together. The death quote, camera pan/zoom out and of course the music (maybe some nostalgia as well).
