Przemek_kondor 14 Posted May 11, 2011 hey guys made a long post last night which too 12 hrs to pop up (page 395), and got buried. could explain a few things. It seems to that page numeration depends on the browser you use (or browser's content width). On FF I see "only" 138 pages there, on chrome 412. So you should give post number. @dale0404: I'm also at work, but this is another place where the hack could occur
the_antipop 10 Posted May 11, 2011 I'm getting anxious... what is it...? I'm assuming now that maybe the hacking has ceased? And we're just waiting on an announcement by BIS?

So you should give post number. Dude, the guy only has two posts... one of which was the one you just answered. Search function FTW: started thinking that an russian assault might be possible from the middle east which could explain the map. so i googled russian invasion of europe and found this:http://ww-iii.tripod.com/sequence.htm to quote the summary "Here are the sequence of the events leading to the Third World War and taking place during the war, based on the quatrains of Nostradamus and similar prophecies of other people." i havent read the whole thing but using keyword serches i found some interesting points 1. "It appears that a certain leader, probably from Russia, Central Asia or China will come to conquer France. Is this the Man from the East in II.29 ? It seems that Russia and China will ally with the Islamic forces in World War III. In fact such a large scale attack on Europe is possible when the might of a country like China or Russia is behind the Eastern Alliance. [iI.29] The man from the East will come out of his seat and will cross the Apennines to see France. He will cross through the sky, the seas and the snows and he will strike everyone with his rod. Continuation of the description of the man from the East who will come to France with his great army. The 'Rod' described in this quatrain as well as in V.54 is some kind of new devastating weapon usind in WW-III." 2.http://ww-iii.tripod.com/sequence.htm#527 (titled Iran attacks Greece) "[V.27] With fire and weapons, not far from the Black Sea, he will come from Persia to occupy Trebizond. Pharos and Mytilene tremble, the Sun is bright, the Adriatic sea covered with Arab blood. A notable Iranian commander will come to fight in the Adriatic along with the Arabs. There will be losses in the eastern side too." Greece is one side of the gateway to the Adriatic Sea. 3. There is a pic on the right hand side of the page (http://ww-iii.tripod.com/images/russattack.jpg). the red arrow w/ green outline i believe to be the Persian forces. look some-what familliar?? :http://aan-online.com/a.jpg
max power 21 Posted May 11, 2011 People were skeptical about MKULTRA, a science-based, historically significant project because mind control was too 'out there'. Instead, we look for answers in Nostradamus >_<

maddogx 13 Posted May 11, 2011 BI devs are now watching this thread, so there must be something going on. Has anyone checked the ToH site if it was hacked? Or perhaps a message on the BI or Arma2 Facebook or Twitters?
derdoe 10 Posted May 11, 2011 (edited) Hehe, nice one Myke. I guess you just raised your Rick Roll score by 300 :D Anyway what do we have right now: - map that shows invasion of Europe ("world will change") -> possible storyline - hints pointing to Greek islands -> possible location/setting - ball hitting the wall -> new feature: rag doll, dynamic destruction system, new physics - map coordinates pointing to Iran and China -> possible factions - hints to 1821 as time of setting - 42 / 14 = 3 -> Arma 3? - image with submarine outline -> possibly new naval units, ship warfare Edited May 11, 2011 by derdoe

derdoe 10 Posted May 11, 2011 Deanosbeanos is a know developer and released similar world modification addons before. So no, its no hack. The tile "The world can change" was chosen simply because he wanted to relate to a topic many ArmA fans are interested in right now.

Guess Who 10 Posted May 11, 2011 This was posted on OFPEC today: Bohemia Interactive InterviewWritten by hoz Following some of the recent weird posts you've seen on here from Bohemia Interactive and the buzz in the community and on Arma2.com... here is another part in the series... Interviewer: So we are here with four developers from Bohemia Interactive. Are you allowed to talk about your upcoming project? Barel: Even if we knew, we would not tell a journalist. Interviewer: Anything that might tell us what we can expect from BI this year? Tahlo: Really, we can't tell you anything, we would be fired! Interviewer: Come on, this is a news outlet, why can't you at least hint something. Roamer: Hey! You are trying to persuade us to tell something we simply can't! Interviewer: That's my job as a journalist isn't it? Anyway, will you tell us something or not? Exorcist: Help! This guy is really annoying! Why does our PR manager put us through this? Interviewer: Easy guys, relax, this is just a funky interview, not a warzone! Barel: Unless an annoying journalist doesn't want to change the topic! Interviewer: So, I see. You don't like me. But if you don't tell me anything, that guy who will be fired is me! Who will feed my family then?! Tahlo: Exorcist, please do you have some earplugs? Interviewer: Really, I'm serious! Please, don't ignore me! Exorcist: Son, this interview is over. So ... what's going on here?
