http://www.arma3.com/ is down... how odd...

Odd indeed. Seems like Arma4 is still up however :)

Fingers crossed it IS Arma3, but I don't want to jinx it by talking more about it. Shhhhh.

I'm quite sure that this won't be ArmA3... it's simmple, world is not ready for this.

AMD, Intel, nVidia doesn't have proper technology to handle with soo badly optimized engine. Also pharmaceutical companies doesn't have proper amount of 'cool down' pills for soo big complaining comunity. I'll not mention about hospitality so many people with heart palpitations after new patch release, wich brings more new bugs then alredy have fixed.

Hope you understand, I didn't learn english because I waste so many years with OFP...ArmA.. ArmA1.. ArmA2.. youporn.. ;)

Yes its arma3 :P

Yup. There aren't enough expletives in the english language to convey the joy I feel. :yay:

Btw.:

www.arma3.com

Registered by "Viktor Mrnustik", some guy in Czech.

It's hosted on .cz domain

It's a 'fan' site that isn't updated, and contains no real information, screenshots, etc. So what purpose does it serve?

It's got a prime domain name, yet it has no advertising, so the owner isn't trying to cash in on the page hits... odd?

If you were BIS, would you really let that domain name go to waste?

It's domain registar was updated 20th April 2011. Mean nothing? Arma4.com was registered 20th April 2011...

Czech isn't known for hackers, spammers and domain squatters. There must be a link here with the owner and BIS.

I've been thinking exactly this.

If I wanted to keep a project secret, while at the same time securing all the relevant domains before others can snatch them up, I would have a friend reg it for me and make it look either parked, or minimally used.

If BIS really are planning to reveal Arma3, it can be safely assumed that they have been developing it for some time. They probably even secured Arma3.com at the same time as Arma2.com, simply because holding a domain is cheap.

Oh the dissapointment if it turns out to be that BI just decided to register that domain because they forgot earlier, and we helpfully reminded them of that fact in this topic. :p

A little too early i'm afraid. AmA3 domain name belongs to BIS, that's not a big deal.

Not when it was a community site yesterday, now it's down the day before the BIS announcement and dns servers are bistudio... abit of a coincidence...?

The domain was previously registered by some unknown Czech guy hosting some weird mini-fansite - now suddenly, 24 hours before BIS are to make some kind of announcement that was led up to by an intricate two week long ARG, the domain holder changes to BIS and the site goes offline.

You're telling me that's a coincidence?
