This addon requires both Arma2 and Operation Arrowhead or Arma2/CO

and Extended Event handlers.

INFO:

This is a BETA release of the BD-5J for Arma2/Operation Arrowhead/Combined Operations.

The model is based on the real plane but the weapon systems are added just for the game play. The bd-5j is fun to fly

but with the addition of weapons its much better. This is a BETA release for the purpose of testing and feedback on the addon.

As so there may be issues/bugs which will be addressed in the near future. All known issues/bugs are listed

below, please PM me with any issues , bugs or suggestions on the BI Forums at http://forums.bistudio.com/member.php?u=60905

As this is an early release and MP compatibility has not been fully tested yet .

LOCATION:

the plane can be found under Faction:

US Air Force / MICRO JET / BD-5J.

Russian/ MICRO JET / BD-5J.

Takistan / MICRO JET / BD-5J.

Independent / MICRO JET / BD-5J.

Civilian / MICRO JET / BD-5J.

FEATURES:

working Cockpit with day/night capability featuring the following gauges and features.

GAUGES:

Trims Indicators (Rudder/Aileron)

Fuel level

RPM

G-Force

Airspeed

Vertical Speed

Altimeter (AGL)

Radar Compass

Artificial horizon (with Roll indicator)

Clock (H/M)

Full HUD

WARNING / INDICATORS:

Low fuel.

Low fuel warning with sound.

Low ammo.

gear up.

gear up warning with sound.

gear down.

gear down warning with sound.

engine stall with sound.

damage with sound.

stall with sound.

enemy radar lock-on with sound.

low altitude with sound.

high altitude with sound.

weapons indicators (gun,missile,bomb).

Also includes:

Animated weapons bays

full damage texture animation

glass damage (including hud glass damage and some gauges have glass damage)

folding wings

Weapons: (fictional because almost all the missile in the game are just about as long as the plane lol.)

4 x AIM-35 air to air missiles

4 x AT-57 air to ground missiles

3 x M25 50lb free fall bombs

1000 Rnd 50CAL Gatling gun

AIM-105 air-air

AMG-40 air-ground

CHANGE LOG:

folding wing animation.

added ability to turn warning sounds on/off.

added new variants and factions.(variants- multirole, air to ground, and air to air ver.)(factions- USAF, Russian, Takistan, Civilian, and Independent.)

added new skins. black, camo, gray, and 3 civilian skins.

added 2 new (fictional) missiles. AIM-105 air-air, AMG-40 air-ground.

Signed addon and included server key.

Fixed:

wreck model no longer sinks into the ground.

INSTALLATION:

Copy: @BD5J

To your ARMA2 2 directory. For example:

C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\Arma2 2\@BD5J

Or copy the contents of the @BD5J\Addons folder to your own MOD folder.

KNOWN ISSUES:

still needs more resolution lods and shadow lods.

shadow lods need refinement.

textures are still WIP.

need to change weapons and tracer color for the Opfor vehicles.

Cool, really looking forward to this. I released an FSX and FS2004 version of the BD5 a few years ago, had the blueprints from a real one and a former pilot as a tester thats how deep i got lol.

Looking forward to how it turns outs, its a great little plane!

Awesome! This is just like the one we had back in OFP:R but much improved by the looks of it. Hehe, can you fly it through an aircraft hanger like James Bond?

@Marseille77 yes i am curently working on the textures for it now but i suck at texturing lol. hopefully it will be done soon along with some other variants and up dates.

HI, what is the command to fold wing (this animate...) ?

it is done via script .

fold down "bwph_bd-5j\scripts\fold_dwn.sqf" fold up "bwph_bd-5j\scripts\fold_up.sqf"

or in the action menu but if the plane is moving faster than 45 it will remove the action and if the wings are folded up the plane will not go over 35-40
