I would like to second this...

I just redid my PC and finally came around to playing this game.

I got the ArmA2 Black Edition and also bought the Expansion Pack OA. Got both as a DVD in a store.

Now I installed both and in the lower right corner it either says 1.06.xxxx or 1.51.xxxxx depending on which game I start.

Seeing as how the linked patches somewhat include my version numbers (1.00 to 1.08 and 1.50 to 1.55) and I can't find any other patches on the website I probably just have to download both patches, apply them and be done.

But since this means downloading 450+ MB I'm kind of reluctant to just do that without any kind of confirmation. Maybe there is a smaller download somewhere or I just need one of both.

So yeah just some kind of nodding me through would be cool, giving me the green light you know ;)

This is the official update for Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead from 1.50-1.54 version to 1.55.

This patch will also update your original Arma 2 1.00-1.07 to 1.08 if necessary

A2 CO => A2 OA 1.55

A2 OA => A2 OA 1.55

A2 => A2 1.08

This update is for all Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead versions except STEAM. For STEAM version use STEAM update.

and what about BAF update? i have full version of this expansion, should I install BAF patch separately?

BAF Patch 1.01 is a separate update yea.

there´s an error with the Key´s server does kick me with the reason

wrong signature for baf_dubbing.pbo

note: this is only for BAF not BAF lite, there does it work.

if i understand correctly, I don't need paid BAF to update It? But I download it and it said that I have BAF installed incorrectly, so I will need to update to 1.55 first and then install BAF patch?

The official update for ARMA 2 from 1.00 to 1.08 (including the Steam version, note that Verify file cache and autoupdate will not work properly until the full 1.08 is also out directly on Steam).

STEAM patches are not live yet. Any time now.

The Windows DS update is included in the patch.

Re Linux DS update, it will soon be available.

BAF Lite is included in OA Patch 1.55.

Needs official confirmation though.

You may have to download again the patch. The file is probably corrupted.
