So what is exactly the difference between the version released for the Polish community on ArmA point and the version released here ?

Thanks, I making some tweaks and below you can see list of changes

*replacing M43 cap with sidecap for germans (or helmets),

*German AT grenades [Panzerwurfminen and Geballte Ladung] (they replace soldiers armed with PF60 in early war groups)

*Volksturm (slightly changed FDF ww2 civilians for now, models with Fliegerbluses or some strange equipment mix may appear later)

*Optimization of Soviet winter infantry (added resolution lods, changed heads models)

*Leandlease M5 Halftruck & universal carriers for soviets

*Added W-SS units in Feldbluses & variants (normal trousers + camo jacket aso)

*and some more tanks from T_Roc (Kingtiger, IS-1)

There are also things, that I would like to make but I don't know if will get permissions/have time to incorporate things like KingTigers SdkFz 222, FDF ISU-152 or quadruple Maxim. I have some crazy ideas too like adding Panzerklein (remaking of VX-25 Battlesuit from WH40k - I always dreamed in Silent Strom to destroy those things using T34 :P ) or some freaky zombie scripts from Dr. Pepper.

Arma point? hm, interesting because I don't speak Portuguese...

Polish version has strings in polish while international one got most of them translated into english (still a lot of Polish word here and there may appear). Also, international version includes incorporates first patch which had some hotfixes.

I've managed to play this mod (finally!!) and I must say that it's great! Complex but very easy to use, enormous amounts of units and vehicles - monstrous! I've got few questions though:

- number of bullets in magazine/clip can't be seen - I assume that this is done for purpose of realism?

- now every soldier can use build menu - can you make it so that only team leaders will be able to open this menu (and give build orders to soldiers in team)?

- there are Lancaster and Support: Lancaster (and Ju-88 on Axis side) - what's the difference? Why there is no "support" bomber for Soviets?

- there is no animation of hatch opening in tanks (turn out option) - done for purpose (less lag) or bug?

Anyway, great mod, I hope that some server will host games for it soon...

Edit:

There are some russian, german and english voices (in tanks, and few other places) - have you made whole DSAI? If yes, are we able to turn it on somehow?

well, I checked it right now and seems, I've done it such way. If you are squad leader then you got option to open build menu. If you want to order AI to begin building then use action "Order AI work on: name of structure"

have you tried it in editor anyway? Support: Lancaster/Ju88 is script, which allow player to call in airstrike. Planes are spawned at position of "Support: Lancaster/Ju88" logic

Right now it's done on purpose and I'm trying to figure out way, to have it working in cpu friendly way. Maybe I will add gamelogic to enable hatches if someone wants to have nice looking hatch anims for ie cutscene.

Yep, there are even different voices for british units. Shouting AI script is based on SLX framework and is made compatible with MP.

Currently it's not possible to disable it.

But I'm asking about enabling voices when orders are given to soldiers in team (shoutings are OK, I don't want to disable them ;) ).

And why no support bomber for Comintern? Il-2 should be OK...

I just downloaded this mod and its amazing!

The new units and features what it does add are Amazing.

I've just seen this little error: British Red Devil Off2 doesn't work. (Makes error)

I don't have seen any other problems and crashes on this mod

And the AT Soldiers are bugged too

Can you be more specific? Because I tried the AT Soldiers and I didn't have any problems

EDIT:

I tried the PTRD soldiers from the Russian side, and it gives an error from the PTRD sights, at libmod models

I don't have screenshots, maybe tomorrow I will put the path of the error ;)

Yesterday I've tried some units and functions of mod, and what I remember:

- FW-190s, Piper, bombers and some other planes have bad selections - rudders and/or flaps are not moving, or wheels are selected as rudder

- British tanks (Churchill, Achilles) are having problems with crews - you can't see crew or crewmen are sitting "on air", when turn out option is selected

- interriors looks... bad (not in every vehicle, but in most).

But I assume that in most mission player will control infantryman so, these bugs are not "critical". There is one very annoying thing though: in most cases, when using support bomber, after choosing target, I'm getting information that planes are taking off, and after 20 min of waiting (with game speed set on 4x - so 100 min game time) nothing happens...

IL-2 is close air support plane, not tatical/strategical bomber. Pe-2 would fit in such role but as it is a bit buged right now.

Don't you think that Il-2, Ju-87, (something for Allies) would be better choice as supporting bomber? It doesn't look realistic when you're calling for an airstrike and you get pair of Lancasters, as you've said "Il-2 is close air support plane" and for me option to call in planes equal calling air support...

That's why they calling sometimes such planes "tactical bombers".

First off, I LOVE the mod!

I really like your idea of merging all the ww2 mods and making them compatible with each other and in multiplayer, and when I saw it had SLX enabled with WGL features I couldn't resist downloading.

the only bit of criticism I have is that the dust effects for the firearms aren't there, and the souds don't have the bullet crack.

Other than that thanks for this mod! ;)

Well here is the campaign error, it gives me a CTD when I end the I44SkyHunters Mission. And it shows this error

No, read it once again, concetrate especialy on word close

support planes == tactical bombers which do bomb strike.

if you want CAS then place Ju87 or Il2 with seek and destroy waypoint, it should work flawless.

If you want to enable bis radiochater then remove voice.pbo from @WW2_MP/Dta folder.

I know about achilles but churchil tanks are working

ah, and please remember, I'm using special method to detect tank turret angle and you can't use moveincargo command on tanks right on game start. You have to use scripts with 2 second delay. Also, please be aware, that moving from driver to cargo will cause bug.

And here's the Bazooka man bug, it happens when you are proned.

well, as I'm not animation specialist I don't know if it will be ever fixed. Animations are from Liberation mod and they designed for PTRD and right now, after playing with them for about 3 years, I'm pretty used to them. After all, it is just graphic issue which doesn't affect game play anyway.

As for campaign bug, can you tell me what is filesize of i44husky campaign? I don't have such bug but it is pretty possible I fixed it and forget to update file in campaign.

dust effect is very cpu hungry and that's the reason why I decided to remove it. Maybe in future I will add option to make it on/off but...

As for sonic crack - there is wgl version of it. Maybe they are a bit to silent but it is in there.

Me and my brother were playing on this mod, and there were a number of little bugs, but none that I can remember...

one major one is: Don't get 2 players in the same tank, it crashes the game because of all the randomized scripting for the tanks from libmod.

dust effect is very cpu hungry and that's the reason why I decided to remove it. Maybe in future I will add option to make it on/off but...

As for sonic crack - there is wgl version of it. Maybe they are a bit to silent but it is in there.

that would be great, one of my favorite things about SLX mod was the atmosphere it created. (BTW thank you soooo much for getting SLX to work multiplayer!)

also, what about WGL tracers? would there be a way to get them implemented?

well, it's not caused by libmod script. You have to put crew outside the tank at the beginning because it creates special proxy units - as moveincargo doesn't work, if vehicle is non local, it ends in endless loop. Anyway, afaik, I tested it in MP at it worked non dedicated servers, can you say, if it is issue of all tanks? Not all vehicles have such script (ie assault guns doesn't have it).

also, what about WGL tracers? would there be a way to get them implemented?

afair WGL tracer == BN tracer which are included in mod. Go to gamelogics, WW2 MP Logics and put Enable Tracers gamelogic.

We were playing for a while, no crashes at all playing many different missions, and we came across one that was 2 panthers, we got into some thick stuff, tanks comming from all directions, so I got the AI out and he jumped in mine.

now, as soon as we took a hit my game (client) crashed.

we looked at each other (playing LAN) and we both assumed it was the libmod scripts... I could be wrong. (and probably am)

I should mention that we were saving the mission making for later, so sorry if I suggest/report something that already is in the game, and you are already aware of.

Ee... You didn't played in Husky campaign from Invasion 44 1.2 Demo ?

It was the same bug. Because Invasion 44 when released demo 1.2 was thinking to continue. Maybe 1.5 demo or something..

It's normal error. You just finish Husky Campaign in WWIIMP... Reyhard only convert this campaign to his mod. That's all.

OK for this mod what OFP setup should I install from cd first and what patches? I want to play single missions hrough mission editor do I have to download the 700 + MB file as well? I have 2 cd's one is OFP Cold War Crisis and OFP Resistance

Not to jump in for Reyhard, but if you have CWC + OFPR up'd to v1.96 that should be all you need.

Hi Reyhard - had been recently reworking I think it's Jon's Pnzrwrf42. I could give to you as long as you could get permission from author of addon.

I usually tweak addons but normally do not give out to public - becoz of permissions. But since you put out so much effort - it's worth trying to see if you can get permission for editing this addon.

Had some things left to do with it - time constraints are a real issue on my side.

Had help resizing -but I reskinned - and tweaked config. Not a modeller <Yet> when I get free time to dabble in it -Changed ammo from Law to Zuni Rockets - for smoke trail. Think I need to work script for AI - very rigid when it comes to targeting.

I'm traveling right now - so don't be put off if I don't answer back for a bit...

If it's same John who made Foy & M10 addon then it should be ok release it. By Bielow words, John gave me permissions for all his ofp addons. Afair, this addons has some bad lod (w/o textures), have you fixed this? Anyway, if you will be able to reply, then please, send me your modified version of addon and I will try to release it ;)

Hey, maybe after you're done with the pzwrfr you can move to the chaffee? that thing needs a reskin, it's all forward of where it's supposed to be.

but maybe i'm just being picky... :blahblah2:
