[CAMP] Joint Operations [BAF]

Where the hell is the weapons cache I need to destroy in join operations? I've been running in and out of every single building in the town for about 20 minutes!

thats the problem i already have :P, reinstalled everything a few times over.. still nothing :(

One thing is critical with this is you must ensure you have the very latest version of CBA, like many others it failed at the start because although not obvious I was using an outdated version of CBA. Current version is 0.6.0

If you need some voice work done, would be lovely to get some regional UK voices in there. Pm me if needed im pert of the voice acting guild. Havent been able to record anything for weeks as my microphone has been broken but i just got a new one in

Played it once with the original missions.. replaying now with the BAF content, loving it all over again mate! The new mission was great too..

And I really like the start, its a winner.. drums, getting louder, the union jack effect.. puts me right in the mood for a war..lol!

Just started replaying it with the new units and noticed the players character didnt have the usual English accent, apparently I think you need to use Male02_BAF (I think!) to sort it. Nice to see the new mission early on in the campaign.

  • Added "Male02_BAF" as players voice
  • Changed players face to "Face08_BAF"
  • Campaign now takes place in 2012
  • New loading and overview images for "Warzone"
  • Replaced the Chinook HC4 with a Merlin HC3 on "Warzone"

has anyone managed to host this for coop campaign play?

i have installed as the instructions state. when i go in to campaigns and then choose to host "joint ops" the normal screen to type in server type and password pops up. I choose internet, and then click "ok". This then takes me to the screen where u choose the mission. In this case its the first mission of the campaign called "start".

I choose this mission and then click continue, it says "receiving" for a moment and then for some weird reason takes me to the standard multiplayer "create game" menu with no sign of the campaign in site :S

i have tested the campaign without hosting it to see if its just the hosting thats the problem, the game loads perfectly fine, so it must just be a fault with the hosting of the campaign.

please help!

Try and skip through all of the missions in SP first and then start from "The Shapur Struggle" in MP because I think the intro is whats making it crash in MP just try and play the missions separately.

It wasnt made for MP so it wont be the same when you play it. I just made all units playable to overcome any AI bugs.

I just wanna say thank you for some nice hours you gave me.

That was a very nice campaign.

Best mission was the assault on the airfield at night.

A bit to short but great enough to sit down and watch the show.

Made a folder in my OA directory called campaigns, added this, started up OA and went to play this in SP, it froze on starting the campaign. I shut the process down, went back into OA, started at shapur struggle and the same thing happened.

Does this campaign have voiceover of ingame dialogues? I could hear the reporter’s voice in the ANN intro, but during the first mission - e.g. talk with a local - no voiceover, just subtitles (if on). Does it suppose to be like this, or something is wrong?

I'm playing BAF under OA 1.54, no mods on. Had no problems with any other mods/campaigns.

Otherwise - seems very promising campaign, just want to make sure.

How do one resupply ammo and fuel to the Jackals in the mission where you have to clear villages on a roundtrip ?

I drove back to the FOB, but they wont take fuel or ammo there.

BUT until now I have had a blast of a campaign - wonderful work :yay:

@ Archamedes - So there should be voiceover all along? During the "The Shapur Struggle" mission, too? If yes - I cannot hear them (all other sounds, commands etc. are fine).

I have, I'm also getting no voices

But I can only hear radio commands

I use ACE, ACEX, ACEX_SM, CSM2_BAF, DSAI, ZeusAI

There are only voices in the cutscenes at the moment. I have some other voicework here on my computer thanks to Archamedes and AaninPanje for the in-game speech, but I cant get voices for all of the characters, so there are currently none in-game.
