1 is a BIS script - not our problem

2 not seen - maybe we already fixed that - in my current version that script function is in EB_Air\scripts\common_init.sqf and works fine

3 noted and fixed already for next update

PRACS is Eddie's mod. We can't simply add things to it. We are agreed to send those updates/tweaks we make back to him for his use in PRACS however. But that will ultimately be up to him! :D

yeah we're happy to share as always, but its a lot of work for him to modify everything, if he even wanted to after already spending years with it... good idea though

Yeah - I know I know - it's just that RACS has always had that "almost Desert Storm"ish feel to them. And thus, as a Cold War equipment whore, I have this "warm and fuzzy" feeling when using 'em. ;)

And yeah - PRACS is more then solid mod but w. vanilla configs and features. Also since we have the beauty that SMD Sahrani is, there is a place for both RACS and SLA factions =)

The beautiful F-16C Fighting Falcon (or Viper if you are in the know)

 

Model courtesy of wld427 and PRACS mod pack, original work in it and its scripts by footmunch, anzacsassteve, myke, wld427, sekra, and rock

Model tweaks and new scripts and config overhaul by eggbeast and hcpookie

New weaponry by Myke, von knudenberg, eggbeast and hcpookie

The MiG-25 looks pretty awesome.  I'm glad somoene decided to make one for A2

Are there any plans in the near/distant future to add a fixed wing transport for the CDF and Takis like Gnats An-72 or something?  Don't take this as an addon request please, I was  just curious if maybe that idea was in the pipeline?

For the mod, not sure.  IMO Gnat's An-72 could be used in the mod's missions as-is with little effort.  A very nice plane.  I have the "free planes" BE-200 but haven't added it yet.  It has all the firefighter "stuff" which is cool, but I haven't figured a way to make it really usable in the missions we play.  So maybe I'll just add it w/o that as a "normal" transport.  Not as pretty as Gnat's planes, however, not by a longshot.

Very true, I just wish there were CDF and TK skins for it.

That would be awesome.  There are a couple of models out there but I think they have their own little quirks, something I'm sure you guys will soop and give the eggbeast/hcpookie treatment.

For the Mig31/25, I need simply to complete the landing gear doors' animations.  3D models etc. all complete, save that last item.  Loadouts for Mig31/25 will be accurate as per the discussion on the MIg25 thread.  It will require the new missile updates in RangeMaster, so it will need the Range Master update before it can fly.  Should be ready to fly tonight, barring the missile updates.

Was messing around with the aircraft (I like just flying around) and I was wondering, since your Tornado has functional sweeping wings, would that possibly be implemented on the MiG-23 and 27 in the future?  Or was the model that was given/created done with the wings being fully swept at all times.

ah those wings do sweep, but atm they only sweep using flaps keys

we will make them speed dependent now we know how.
