Good Day So I've been hosting games Arma 3 since yesterday, and my friend is experiencing a peculiar problem. When he joins my server, you must select your squad/team; it is blank... (as seen below ) We tried waiting for 5-plus minutes, we've both verified the game files, we've double-checked our mods, and we've been attempting to play without mods as restarted our PCs and Wifi. Some of the official scenarios work plenty to have the same problem. So far, only one modded scenario out of 20 plus minus worked but then the in-game menu was glitched, where you choose your layout, he was stuck at the cut scene with only the option to leave Note: I have the best internet out of my friend group, so I always host for a stable experience. Hey there! I set up a dedicated server on a secondary computer. I’m trying to launch the server with UPnP but it keeps showing up as failed in the log. I can still join the server on my main PC, but I think that’s because I’ve already port forwarded my router. My friends can’t see or join the server. I really don’t want them to have to go through and port forward their router because its such a hassle and they don’t play as much as I do. I’ve also done the win+R -> services.msc to turn on UPnP. I’ve even gone as far as to turn off my windows defender firewall. I’m at a loss of what to do.

I have recently made my own dedicated antistasi server and i got it to work completely fine, however i just wanted to change the TFRA settings so everyone spawns with a radio and i get a long range one. I cant do this however as the 'SERVER' tab is greyed out despite me being logged in as an admin and i cant edit anything in the missions tab either, i can only change the client which is overridden by the server. i tried importing settings and or adding the module to which i got this message: "mpmissions\__cur_mp.Altis\mission.sqm/Mission/Entities/Item356.type: Vehicle class tfar_ModuleTaskForceRadioEnforceUsage no longer exists" I also had a go at adding the CBA settings sqf folder which didn't work and with filepatching enabled it prevented me from joining the server altogether. Thanks in advance, im looking forward to play with my friends and i have had way too much stress over this server and am happy to co-operate with anyone seeking to help

server setup Setting a Server problem: Not public, can't connect (not even my own)
Garret Wayne posted a topic in ARMA 3 - SERVERS & ADMINISTRATION
Hello! My recent and ever existing problem was that whenever I try to host a server ( as basic the basic method of ingame multiplayer/host a server/ ) none of my friends seemed to find it, either by direct connecting or searching for it in the server browser. I also tried it with port forwarding, which didn't work either, not even with a static IP, not even configuring my ESET security program. So then a couple of days ago I tried again, basically went through the same process to get the same results, so I moved onto making a dedicated server (hoping that it could be reached ), following this guide : I did everything "by the book" (using Arma 3 server tool, setting it up, etc...) , but the UPNP never got enabled so the server is not visible for the public (...and neither for me for reasons unkown at this point) even though I fixed the problem with the mismatch of steamappid (by alternating it to the expected volume) . So as of now I would like to ask for experienced help in the matter of making at least this dedicated server up and going...! Current things I have tried to make UPNP enabled (recently) : - checking IF it WAS enabled (both in my router and my security system) : IT WAS ENABLED - Setting up a rule for Eset Internet Security to enable the given ports needed for Arma 3 (server tool) to work with (still UPNP was not enabled when running the server) Previously with a friend of mine we have also tried to use Hamachi in order to be able to connect to each other via the default (or listening server/ basic ingame) server hosting method, but it failed even after several attempts, as the server/ game I hosted never showed up in the "LAN" part of the server browser (either ingame or at the launcher). I hope someone will be so kind and resource to be able to help me, but I'm thanking in advance for any help and suggestions! I am trying to be as fast at answering as possible (as I would like to solve this problem ASAP)- 2 replies

Server not responding, after years of hosting.
Slay No More posted a topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
Hello, I hate asking for help but I have no other ideas left what to do. I used to be able to host missions fine for the past 3 years I've been doing it and suddenly it stopped working. I've already done some troubleshooting of my own to figure it out but nothing yielded positive results. I've checked my port forwarding and it's done correctly via the router and my IP is static on the local side of things and the ports are correctly being forwarded to the correct local ip. I've checked windows firewall settings, even removed them to allow the thing to re-acquire permission. I've reinstalled Windows 10 and Arma 3, verified Arma 3 as well. Other steam games work doing this so this problem is exclusive to Arma 3, the invite to game options from steam just say "Server not responding." and even direct connecting doesn't work, nor does my server show in the launcher. I can connect to other servers fine however. I don't know how to fix this and have been looking for a fix for a while without yielding any positive results via google or forum posts. Edit: I resolved my issue, the issue was related to a modem change from my ISP, and the modem had its own firewall settings. Call your ISP if you have exhausted all troubleshooting guides and have correctly had port forwarding set up and your issue still persists.-
