Known Issues:

Not sure but there's gotta be a ton.

Mirrors:

Get em up!

I've added an Air Drop with some ACE2 crates. The player is also equiped with HuntIR grenades, they'll probably come in handy. Unfortunately due to the ACE2 wound system not working for AI I've had to revert to the BIS system.

S*&t sorry guys! I'm gonna have to re upload a new version. I can't seem to load the HuntIR rounds in RH's M4 I'm using. I'll think of something else.

EDIT:

New version up. I had to give the player an EoTech M4 GL SD cause there's no ACOG GL SD. Sorry.

Removed RH M4 dependency.

So.... what am i doing wrong?

switch to laser marker request air strike.....0-0-1

But there is no message asking me to paint the target.

I laze anyway, the red dot is somehow not placed correctly it seems, nothing happens..

Thanx for any advice.

yes, unless Manzila updated the mission

SD

No. You should be able to use the strike again. You use the radio to call up another air strike then you can initiate another strike via the SecOps menu.

UPDATE:

First post updated. Just a quick update to ensure compatibility with the newest ACE2 update.

v2.5 change:

* Removed ACE Stick2gether dependency since the module was removed from ACE2 altogether.

Do you have ACEX installed as well? That's where that file is. Other than that I'm not sure what else it could be. I've never seen that error in game nor report. Quite strange.

My ace is all updated and working now but i get a crash. the intro loads where they are standing in the hanger, then it goes to the next loading screen and crashes to desktop

Saying that JTD/JTD_action.config.hpp is missing. Yet i know its there because i have put it in the dta folder where its supposed to be

I'm pretty sure it doesn't go in the Dta folder. Check the JTD ReadMe again for installation but I believe it goes into the userconfig/JTD/JTD_acton.config.hpp. The userconfig folder should go in the main A2 directory.

EDIT:

Yup, it doesn't go in the Dta folder.

Per the first post of the JTD thread:

Installation:

The archive contains a folder structure \@JTD\addons - simply extract the archive someplace and place the @JTD folder in your ArmA2 root folder. There is also a folder structure for \userconfig\JTD - place the userconfig folder in your ArmA2 root folder, also. There is also a \keys\ folder that contains the JTD bikey - place this file in the \keys\ folder in your ArmA2 root folder.

Good mission Manzilla, thanks for it.

I have one problem though:

I stormed the base successfully, but I don't seem to find the info I'm supposed to look for. I suspected the air control tower but I can't seem to get to the control room (the upper one). When I reach the steep stairs that lead to it, I can't climb them, and I also don't have the option to "Climb ladder". I also checked the adjascant building and the hangars but found nothing.

Any advice?

Hmmm, not sure about this one.

Did you:

Encounter the enemy units in the control tower? It's in the main room on the top floor, yup up the stairs. There's a desk I place with a folder on it. Not sure why you couldn't get up the stairs, all I can think of is that maybe there's a dead baddie blocking the way.

Also, did you try the building in the Editor? Just to make sure you can walk up the stairs.

If you can't get to it then I'll have to check the mission myself. Unfortunately I will not be back to my computer until Jan 11th. I'll check it out then as well.

My apologies.

No problems, I just found a workaround:

I climbed the ladder that reach the roof and climb down to the control room from the roof's ladder. From this point all went well and I got to the damn successfully.

Thanks for the mission!

Hey there buddy,

Is there a chance of a version not requiring the ambient traffic addon? And is that addon required client-side too, or not?

Cheers.

No idea about client side or not. I know nothing about MP stuff, if that's what it pertains to.

Regarding removing the mod, yes I can do that. Futures missions will be more involved with ACTON Mod and will require it, this one was just more of a test. Unfortunately I wont be home for a week so I can't do anything until then.

My apologies.

i have three points:

- is it possible to change the mission that way that i can equip my men before the beginning of the operation (with all the ACE gadgets) ??

- when i save the mission and reload again all ACE konfigs are disabled (like shift+V for the snipers oder shift+H for the bipod) and the air strike or the hole radio is no more!!!

- when i save the mission want to reload again, i have to wait a whole eternity

like your mission!! should be more of em

1.) Yes, I'll have to learn how to implement this option though. I won't be home until Monday so I can't do anything until then.

2.) Yup, the shift+v thing is a problem with ACE2, it's a know issue. It may have been fixed already though.(I thought I read it in the changelog for a recent update.) Not sure though. Make sure you are using the most recent ACE2 version and I'll see if there's anything I can do on my end to fix the problem when I get back home.

The actual radio on the map disappearing is something that's happened to me since A1, I'm not sure what can be done to keep it there after a load. I don't use the radio on the map anyways. I just use the keypad numbers. 0-0-1, I think that's the right key order. Either way it's accessed by hitting zero then it comes up in the action menu and you choose the corresponding support option from there.

3.) It takes about 15 seconds for me to load but I'll have to check when I get home. I don't remember having to wait all that long.

Is anyone else having this issue?

This is probably one of the only SP missions that i actually enjoyed start to finish. It would be really good if you could use this as a starting point of a campaign. Because this really should go further than just a single mission

Thanks bud I appreciate that. Making this a campaign is something I planned to do but I'm not sure how long that will take.
