  1. When you open the map, the game creates "point" that uses to calculate sound volumes. Where we're moving - the point is still at same place, that seems "engine sound" becomes silent. Fix it please.

    understood. i dont try on vanilla, just before it works correctly at our modpack.
  3. Last version (1.56) we have detected next bug (steps to reproduce): 0. Get primary weapon to your hands 1. toggle combat-walk 2. lower your weapon 3. you will be move silent without sound (your soldier is playing animation - moving and carry weapon with one hand) Bugs: 1) silent moving 2) where you push SPRINT key from these state - you will be play healing soldier animation and slow down the speed. === In version 1.58 we have detected new bug (steps to reproduce): 0. Get the primary weapon in your hands 1. Sit down with X key 2. Use CTRL+S to get down your stand (down-sit) or CTRL+W to get your stand up (up-sit) 3. Use B key to get binoculars From 3rd person you will take binoculars, that will be removed from your hands - you will be see through empty hands. From first person your soldier will play animation "seriosly wounded carrying" i think or something - they wont get the binoculars and trying to brake-dancing. Where you try to get binoculars in down-stand/up-stand OR down-prone/up-prone - all will be ok, the soldier first make his stand normal, after that get binoculars. === Need to fix these 2 bugs.
  4. Today i've healing on server in prone state (using hard-medic ACE mode), after 8 bandage my soldier become through sand bag that lying in the front of my position. Soldier did be killed but i didnt move forward after or between healings.

  6. When i stand at same place, the key gets soldier to sit down. When i press it twice or third - i still sit down When am moving i press my X key (sit down command, not toggle sit/stand) - soldier becomes stand. Bug.

    Reloading when prone

  8. Sometimes we get no-ammo when proned... you pressing R to reload and the player attack you... Of course we cant move where proned and reloading because you need hands to move when proned. Its trouble about prioritize move before reload or break button for STOP the reloading immediatelly and move. Priority: we start reloading, after that we give command to soldier to move. They break the reloading and moving before we hold move keys. After that he's continue reloading. He can remove magazine, move after that, stop, and insert it back. Or simple break the reloading and use key R for do that after moving. Break key: some key to stop reloading. First idea is more UI "responsible".
  9. never never... you're positived i see. take these binoculars at your table and try to move your body left right. i think you will do this well.
  10. Simple, when i need to see behind the stone, i like to use CTRL+w/+s to change stand up and down. With binoculars its not working

  12. If you're playing RHS, you of course tried to ride by Tiger or Ural, or something other transport vehicles. By mind of the constructors, that vehicles have defend for the soldier head and have side windows at CHEST level. In real world you simple need sit below or tilt your head down for scout through windows. In ARMA3 we cant do that. Half of infantry squad is sit same as blind kittens and waiting for rocket from both perimeter. I think that situation requires "change stand up-down" to make working in the cars. For some reasons we use keys "rotate head", i mean roll left/roll right. But seeing ground in 76 degrees with these ground it isn't solution.

  14. * sorry for bad english, i'm from Belarus (nearby Russia) Bugs 1.1. The soldier without weapons where try to move or run, if he see at ground - everytime fall when he haven't primary or secondary weapon. We use that stuff with less-weaponed walking with ACE function "hang weapon behind the back". That moving increase the movement speed and drain a little less stamina to player 1.2. Where moving without weapon we can hear 2 sounds at same time of walking (each step twice). We can enter combat walking, and we now hear only one walking sound but... see point 2 and problem 2.1. If you use combat-walking, -- set combat-walk up -- get your weapon, direct it into front -- try to run with sprint key. Sometimes your soldier will move slowly than he can and try to play animation "healing another person" - he put the gun nearby and sit on a knees to make heart-massage. i think we CANT run in combat-walk, that stuff is only about slow running (in walk or stay we automatically direct weapon in the front). When we trying to run fast - combat walk is in the memory only, dont give any effects besides you continue combat-walk where ends the sprint
  15. Add control key "nigth vision up" and "night vision down" replaces "night vision" for scopes like nightstalker to ability to switch up and down vision modes. Thank you Same ability is required in some vehicles that has thermal and night vision, tiger, tairan etc
  16. Known problem, what we fix with installing another Arsenal. When we dont have some item in arsenal - saved PRESET is NOT WORKING. That requires creating 5-10 presets for each map for each scenario. I have 122 presets and i forgot what i saved in first three presets. Now about: what it must work? When load preset without something items - items will be passed and preset is loaded WITHOUT these items. Simple. === For advanced i would be fix auto loading in RAM all virtual armory items. I think - beuty way is loading in RAM selected in virtual arsenal model only, not both items, that takes a lot of time if have three-four global mods. === Sometimes needs sorting by weight/defend/ammo count and another == Sometimes need text field for inline search in virtual arsenal by 2-3 first letters of item name == Sometimes zeus or eden requires creating trigger with VA or make both item a VA
  17. We have used this trick a few times to recap your stamina. You get a 40 kg of ammo, tubes and weapons and very bored after using sprint key?? Dont worry! Release your sprint key Press 2xCTRL for direct your weapon down Press your combat-walk toggle key for your soldier carry the weapon with ONLY ONE hand Continue walking. You lose 1-2 kilometers of speed, but you get: - walking without sound at all (silent walking) - a little fast walking (like basic walking) - very fast stamina recaping same as you stay/prone I think its a bug) need to fix

  19. We hide both information on the screen at the server. And sometimes we use "change stand" option UP and DOWN. Because i'm sure that stuff we use ONLY for get up or down stand, sometimes where choosing before up-prone and down-sit we losing time because we dont see icon of the human. Simple solution is make "change stand" between 3 states only - up, middle, down, and block global changing to sit or to stand. By simple words: CTRL+W, CTRL+S working only between your state - if you're sit - you even if 10 times push CTRL+S - you wont become prone. == how about CTRL+A, CTRL+D keys - need to fully memory support - when you're on right state - you will sit in right state and you will prone in right state. are you trying to push at same time CTRL + S(10 times) + D(1 times) + Z? it makes your fingers like an octopus to fall on the right side in that i promote to memory - you simple correct your stand into right and use Z key to get proned into right. thanks for all your attention

The ladders (vertical stairs) is last what you're using in this game. 1) you need to at the top of the stairs to get out almost in full growth (you WILL be killed) - animation "cling to the air" is very comic 2) you cant shot where moving even with single hand weapon and stay at same place 3) you cant jump out the stairs without damage to your legs Need to fix it :) 1) trying to use animation "overcoming obstacle" at the top of the stairs, without get your full growth distance from it 2) where we hold same place we can use single handed hand gun at almost 250 degress (through stairs included) 3) we can use fast movement on stairs because we are soldiers and that is FIRST what the EACH soldiers learn - fast stairs movement.
  21. Simple. We strong hold to the gun, that sometimes not have optics at all. When i sit on stationary PKM or PKM on the Tiger i want to see though binoculars, not trying to see on 900 meters from basic mechanical scope.
  22. Some small (0.4+ meters height) stones (on Altis) is good shelter from enemy bullets but you want to use weapon racks to attack enemy. The game will place automatic racks (or place it on the magazine) before the stone, but we need ON the stone. When you try to move on the stone - the soldier is walking on same place, where we use V to action, he's came IN THE stone. Same stuff we get where sitting or prone - the soldier is moving on same place instead of try to move ON the stone. it's not stone problem, it's about soldier movement i think, please make it more "responsible", if you're moving on the small stone - the soldier MUST automatic get ON the him with 2-3 steps, same as on conventional ladders.

I dont know how working BIS network optimization, but i think the server does a lot of excess work When you playing Altis at single - u have 60 fps on my Notebook (1.7ghz 2cores, geforce 635m, 8gib ram), when am playing on server - i have 15-20. Battlefield makes all work on the client, every event client sends packet to server. If we have conflict actions - we commit packet time and make both of them or first of them. Server only checks - killer or be killed and player movements, i think... Of course its couldn't be created with bots... but in PVP 20 fps is extra small. Of course, i can buy nice computer, but i have 90 FPS IN BATTLEFIELD 3. 90!!! When someone have unstable connection - the problems occur by himself, not as for all players. Thank you for your giant work, BIS. New EDEN is REALLY GREAT TOOL for a lot sleepless nights.
