    Is it possible that instead of the rank 1 - 7 thing we have right now we could make our own one on it? we have a massive ammount of diffrent ranks and the amount you get predifined is not nearly enough for that nor does the ranks go high enough. if there was a system in place where you could define your own ranks + rank insignia's that would be awesome ;)

  3. Well managed to play through it today with a group of people. Things I found so far: Voice over: the voice was sometimes played multiple times in a row Intro video's, some times you stay stuk on the intro screen The voice and text was not going in sync in the intro video's in other cases of voice and text the text went so fast that the voice was lagging behind. Scope consistency... the sharpshooter class was having difficulty with the scopes. Respawn... way to long... and your revive bleedout is way to short.. you bleed out in 5 seconds making it impossible most of the time for your teammates to revive you and then you have to wait those got horrible 30 seconds to respawn... could you not turn it around? 30 seconds to bleed out and 5 seconds to respawn? apart from that i really loved the campain, cutscene's that where working are awesome and I liked the feel of the mission

Heya, We where having major issue's with your F-14 today, the CBU's spawned mines in the sky that could not be removed. they where so many that fps for people that normally play on 60+ went down to 15 then the cannon of the f-14 fired and the fps went down to 4/5(we allready adjusted soundsources but no joy :( ) Is it possible that you include the default buis ordanance to your rearming UI? that would be very helpfull cheers, KBBW
  5. If your hosting the server yourself you should edit your own profile as the server is run on that then. also use the dev format because that is what 1.62 uses (which is the sneak preview one aswel)
  6. usually steam stores workshop content in default steam folder -> appdata -> workshopcontent (or something like this)
  7. what I see from that video is that your download is really slow so it will take a while befor it launches. other than that there is also no disk activity what so ever... that is not supposed to happen, during the download the disk should write the download in their specific section aswel... maybe something wrong with that station?

  9. its all vanilla on a new mission one of my community members is working on. allthough the issue doesn't seem related to the mission as also default BIS missions report the same error.. atleast is it an error?
  10. If TI is a problem set the date and time to a winter time + day, in the winter time the maps on arma get so cold that thermal stops working correctly
  11. Mod downloaded from the workshop (especially that many) first need to be initialized by the launcher. so even though you downloaded it all it first needs to initialize the 50gigs before you can launch the game...

    And to top that: apperently Scotland wants to redo their referendum to leave britain again and join the EU and London also wants to be seperated from england and join the EU... Britain iis allready falling appart form the inside...

    I must say that I didn't find it wise from britain to perform the brexit. I do know the main reasons why they did this but they have to remember the consquences of their actions. are the consequences really worth leaving? The pound went down 40% in value being only slighly more than the euro now instead of like before quite high, shipping treaty's are all nullyfied and the EU sneaky as they are will still try to enforce their rules onto Britain. the only difference is is that Britain can't vote agains those rules anymore. thing like this happen when people can't see the woods anymore because of the trees, they are to focused on the bad things and not on the good points.

You guys are reading to much into this.... 6.B second point: a.k.a. even though in 6.A is stated that they hold the rights they explain it more there that they do not make copies of your work to redistribute themself or anything, they only modify your workschop contribution to make it compatible with the workshop itself (not sure how you would manage to do thi but okay). those changes are steams property and are their domain but you content itself is and stays yours. the only reason steam might do anything is if it goes against copyright rules or something then they reserve the rights to delete the content. in the next point in 6.B you will read that you even have full rights over your content to remove it when you please, the only thing is is that people who have allready downloaded it will keep their copy on the system (pretty much the same as with PwS and armaholic, you download it you keep it). and if the gamedevs decide to make a mod a official part of the game (this has been done with games before like ARK) so If bohemia decided to include RHS as a partof the game and RHS would be on the steam workshop they can turn it into a dlc and the RHS team will then not have the rights anymore to remove it as it has become game essential. So yea. the 6.A is purely to cover themself and users of the workshop on legal aspect and 6.B describes the real meaning behind the words. Oh, btw a good example of the second point of 6.B second point is that if you publish your mod with the publisher it auto creates a meta.cpp file for use with the launcher, this file is created by BIS and should be property of BIS aswel, its a modification of in-application compatibility

    Okay, First error: you can't use arifle_mas_m4 whitout having the names of the addon in the requiredaddon section in the cfg patches. second one: faction: the faction you fill in there is not the displayname of it but the classname. third: if your gonna retexture a uniform its good practice to acctually create that uniform aswell in cfgWeapons. so calling the unit class rifleman_green and then the rifleman just rifleman is not gonna work you have to have them both the same. fourth: one of the carryall's is having a very weird displayname... might wanna check that out. fith: if you get all that fixed and you get your units ingame I urge you to read through the sample models on how to initialize the armour system for uniforms, vests and headgear otherwise you won't have any protection on them. six: in the hiddenselections don't forget to add ,"insignia" to make insignia's work on your uniforms. seven: make sure to get CfgPatches ready for 1.60 upwards otherwise it will trow fits hope this helps you cheers, KBBW - Kai

    right so they put in the base classes for the new weapons like: arifle_AK12_base_F BUT they have ofcoarse a scope of 0 (base classes) and they don't have a model. I think the model is in their but seeing that those are .ebo's we can located them to make a class ourself :(

    ikr, but having a 4.4 gig update for that small dev branch while the one from last friday was only 900m does seem wierd in my opinion :ph34r: I guess we will hear more in 3 hours 24 minutes on the live stream from e3 pc gaming show

    I choose the Steam workshop everyday ;) 1. servers running steam mods allow for click and join, unsubscribe of a mod deletes it, you can make collections for your friends that they can use to join a server with the same mods
