Yes that works perfectly :) Makes my life soo much easier :P Will be testing it shortly on our servers. Edit: Tested it on server "EUTW.net EU-5" (cyprus-pushtohear.bikey) - works fine - no issues. Its available there now. Will do a mass roll-out (including re-announcement) during the next morning twilight when the servers are empty. ps.: thanks for the quick fix.

Hi, we wanted to make your mod available on the eutw.net PVP Warfare servers. Saw very late that there was an issue with this mods signed key. We run 5 servers 3 on Linux-wine 2 on Windows 2012 clients produce the following message via RPT's: Server RPT's throw this one: Hope you can find the error in question and this helps you narrow it down. ps.: From a server admins point of view a mod and version specific key is always preferably to a mod-creators key (which might allow other mods or even older versions of the allowed mod to be used). It's not really a problem as long as there is only one mod available from the same developer signed using the same key
  3. tbb4malloc_bi on windows 2012 with 22 GB Ram assigned. only 2 instances of Arma3server running (yet). (result seems to be the same regardless of perf or not) imho 2048MB for arma3server.exe 3072MB for arma3server_*perf*.exe
  4. @Fred41 Is there any chance in hell that your memory Allocator allocates a considerable larger amount of Ram when running on a dedicated server from the steamcmd then without any malloc used ? e.g. assigning ~5 MB of Ram per every Player-Join and not giving it back once the player quits - hogging it till a new mission is started ?

Well, the servers, that do count, allow them :D Speaking of which - already got 3 people poking me on teamspeak about why they get kicked of our servers when using 2.1b :D Its not even 11 in the morning yet. Thanks for the Mod and in advance for the keys.
  6. There should be #1 .. #5 for EU :-) Thanks for the compliments, i'll relay them to the chef. Back to the issue: In case i did not make this clear: It did not happen for everyone using your memory allocator. However, for those that had that issue, the memory allocator was the cause. My bet is, that their issue stemmed from the following:
  7. Having tested all 3 options post 1.22 release with full 60 player servers, i'd have to say: Windows_perf > Wine_perf > Windows_regular > Linux > Wine_Regular. with AIL <=36. (AI Local) Linux does not offer you ASM (not sure if running ASM only via Wine would work) nor battlEyeExtended (on the same box) Wine offers ASM (easy) and BattlEyeExtended (can be a **** to setup, if not following guides precicely - on same box) - some more symlinking required. Windows easiest to setup. ASM + BattlEyeExtended on same box.
  8. Is it possible to have it connected to e.g. 8 servers simultaneously ? cause that's the Feature i'm missing the most from all Rcon tools i have tested so far. That and being able to see chat from all Servers in one single window with a prefix like "Server #1", "Server #2" , so you can see it at a glance and just filter by server# if something interesting comes up.
  9. Just to give you an example of scale fred41, we are running 5 servers at EUTW.NET, with 10-ish missions on rotation. It was not localized to any server nor any specific Map, but rather random. A player having the issue on #3, could have it on #2, while not having it on #4. while others had it on #1 and #5, but not on #2,#3, #4. And all combinations of the above server numbers working/not working) 27 players reported the issue to me alone on TS. After a lot of investigating (which included restarting the PC, not starting any software, and checking ram with memtest86+, plus others) it turned out that out of those 27, 23 had the following in common: your memory allocator. After removing it (including the gimmemoarFrames fix (if present)) those 23 could connect to the servers, they had issues on, again. The issue did not pop up again. I have updated our forum entry to clearly state, the info you provided with regards to 8GB of Ram needed. (which is good to know)
  10. Was this the windows or the linux binary ? :crossing my Fingers for linux:
  11. how about basic.cfg maxCustomFileSize = 0 (or 1) Should that not remove squad XML's and player transmitted sounds, simply by the files being to big ?
  12. If squad XML's have the potential when badly configured to crash an Arma3-server, is there then a way to disable em server-side ?
  13. First off, thank you for this really helpful and awesome tool. I'm mostly using it as a 3d Editor, to manually build bases to assault. I have encountered some annoying "features" tho: 1.) Items snapping together when placed close together. Align to terrain disabled. smooth placement enabled or disabled. This is especially annoying when stacking e.g. Containers and Fortifications on-top of each other. e.g. to get proper fortification even on places, that are not perfectly flat. They sometimes do not get build where the editor says they are, but a bit to the side. which makes em free-float on one side in the air. It also happens when you wanna place buildings close to each other. E.g. Structures [industrial] - Industrial Shed [small] - placing 2 of em close to each other you can't e.g. make em function like a Wall made out Storage sheds, since the second one you place gets placed slightly off the other one. When placing it with very low mouse resolution, you can notice a snapping or jumping effect between those 2 buildings, but regardless, smoothly placing seems impossible. 2.) Editor not remembering the last placed item. It however remembers Faction. Type, but not class.
