All we need are some RWMIKs and we're golden. :)

Great work chaps, really. Some observations and requests if you're in the mood? L119A1: Standard L119A1 version with a picatinny rail but without any grip would be great to have The CQB version has the same accuracy, range, and weight compared to standard version - suggest all receive a small downward adjustment The CQB version is also crying out for picatinny versions without grip and with a (smaller) FG - currently being unable to mount a light or laser on a CQB weapon seems cavalier On the UGL variant the left hand constantly holds the GL pistol grip, suggest moving that to under the GL barrel where it'd be more supportive, or in-front of the magwell, only moving the hand to the GL handle when fire mode is switched to the GL. Also... shocking finger discipline on that GL ;) All versions of L119A1 could do with a dusting of weathered paint, suggest foliage green and some coyote tan so they would work in both temperate and desert environments L129A1 DMR: A variant without a folding grip or AFG and hand supporting under the handguard would be great L128A1 Shotgun: A variant without a folding grip and hand supporting under the handguard would be great :) L92A1 SMG: A variant with the SureFire handguard torch would be... Comfortably, by far, the best UK specific set of mods. Great work.

Wot no tache? Realism broken, immersion gone. Next you'll be telling me the Wild Geese was just a film.

OPX - American Building Pack
Capt Childs replied to opteryx's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Awesome buildings, looking forward to seeing the release! -
Can you tow a modern MBT? Not sure, they're circa 70 tons!
-
That's actually a very good point. It's almost like we need an urban rappelling mod, with firing (into windows etc), and a rural rappelling mod without firing and allow for sloped rock faces.
-
1 & 3 yay! 2 boo! But it's an understandable sacrifice. Many people would be doing this in 3rd person anyway, so no great shakes. I disagree on this one. There isn't helo movement to counteract in the urban mod, and I doubt anyone wants to lose FFR (firing from ropes - you heard it here first! :D ) from urban rappelling. Shooting in building windows FTW

[MELB] Mission Enhanced Little Bird

Yeah, laser designation remains an issue everywhere, it isn't specific to MELB. BI will fix eventually I'm sure. -
N'Ziwasogo A3 terrain (Released)
Capt Childs replied to makhno's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Hey makhno Is the full CUP Terrains Complete a perquisite for N'Ziwasogo, or will just CUP Terrains Core suffice? I've just done some testing with only the Core pack and N'Ziwasogo appears at face value to work fine with it, at least I didn't see any errors pop. The CUP Maps pack doesn't appear to be needed? -
Don't confuse fast roping and rappelling. Rappelling (down a cliff face, outside of a building, whatever), you're attached to the rope by your rigger gear. So you can have free hands. When you fast rope out of a helo the only thing connecting you to the rope are your two hands. Nobody is going to take a hand off the rope to discharge a weapon, let alone deal with the recoil. YouTube is your friend. But I guess if you want Battlefield style features, fill your boots.

United States Air Force( 2015)
Capt Childs replied to SGT Fuller's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
I get that all the time! Especially in Eden. -
I disagree, I don't believe anyone rappelling out of an unstable platform like a helo is going to draw a weapon and start shooting. You'll get the the ground ASAP. IMHO.

Nice UH-60 pack EricJ, looking very interesting! Do you have any plans to add the in-flight refuelling probe to the MH-60M?

Capt Childs replied to SGT Fuller's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Great news, cleaned up in what way? Sgt Fuller indicated it might be possible to add some limited troop transport? 15-20 SOF operators jumping out the back would be hugely welcomed! -
This would be a nice feature.

Oh I agree with that. Similar to the tide mod, adds atmosphere over time.

A very nice starting point. IMHO the bigger ships don't need to move, however it would be nice to move around then without getting stuck/falling off/falling through. Great work lexx :)
