ARMA 3 - official mod, ADR-97 weapon pack
skariaxil replied to Jakub BXBX Horyna's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Will the 5.7 mm suppressors be changed to use the 5.56 mm model? They'd be a better fit than the 7.62 mm drain pipes. -
Why not do both? People without the DLC can then pick the 7.62 model.

RHS Escalation (AFRF and USAF)
skariaxil replied to soul_assassin's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Which takes all of a few minutes. Besides, it's on SW. I can't figure out how the type-69 and the M397 airburst grenades work. I get that they go boom when they hit something, but how do i get them to do that mid air?- 16549 replies

I was gonna gorge myself on RHS as soon as it released anyway, but it's nice it came after my tests :D- 16549 replies

Would it be possible to pull objects from Argo into Arma? I've seen some interesting props come by that'll give you some decorations for use in 3den and Zeus.

If i remember correctly, the eden editor has an 80 groups limit, maybe Zes has a similar limit.

With rubbery i meant that the vanilla stealth uniform has this rubber-like smooth texture (as opposed to the other NATO uniforms). (I'll provide an image or two to clarify, but I'm short on time right now) Will you also do the T-shirt and rolled sleeves variants?

Oehh, I really like these. I'm sure you've thought of this too: Stealth Combat Helmets The triangle pattern Rubbery texture
-
YES I've been saying this for ages (more or less anyway)

But that's not glass in the video. You can clearly see it flex every now and then, it's probably a sheet of plexiglass. Glass actually is largely transparent to IR radiation. Thermal optics' objective lenses are made of glass too, aren't they?

As much as I enjoy seeing you toddlers bicker over who is being a meany and who isn't, don't you think there's more appropriate places for that sort of thing? You know, like a thread that isn't a feedback thread that the devs will look through hoping for usable feedback.

Last time someone called people out like that Christianity literally split in two. That said; I don't mind the fact that the new uniforms and vests are just old retextured ones. For a single military (Let's assume NATO and CSAT are at this point) fielding different uniforms to parts of the world which are more or less the same temperature doesn't make a lot of sense (but I do agree they could use a touch-up). What I do dislike is that all the NATO Pacific gear looks utterly lifeless. Everything is bland and spotless. The uniforms (and vests/backpacks) don't even look like cloth, they looks like a latex suits with camouflage print (and an almost monochromatic one at that). I don't mind the rubbery cleanness of the CTRG uniforms though, it suits them, being sooper-dooper high tech IR masking and all. Speaking of CTRG, they could have done with a new plate carrier-esque vest, or even the old CTRG vests. They just look silly in their tactical vests and AAF grenadier vests without the digital camo. The stealth combat helmet doesn't really do anything the stealth balaclava + regular helmet don't do already. I'd much prefer it's inclusion as a new variant of the NATO helmet, aimed at CQC (or Prowler gunners, that's the sort of job the face thing IRL was developed for).

That, and it seems as if it´s curved too much near the throat of the magazine, and straightens out towards the end.
