A very important and needed function! I hope you will refine the mechanics over time! Maybe you will share you work so maybe I can figure something out to make it more smooth. Arma is many about try & error :-P //Edit Maybe some additional workarounds. I think it need to be a whole lot of buttons to press for this. disableAI "autotarget" or "target" + "fsm" setCombatMode "Blue" setBehaviour "Careless" or "Safe" forceSpeed apply on waypoint and group ( same time? ) steady control with isbehaviour, getSpeed etc. Saving the previous settings of the waypoint in an array and lockWP until all units in radius x on the WP. Restore settings, unlock WP. Module should work until next waypoint reached. Like a panik button. -
I wonder how's the Ai working together with the dust? But very good work so far! Keep it up this would be very nice in rashmaan and of course the brownout would be amazing, too! <3<3<3

Just a suggestion, if you config your camonets as static weapons you could drag and carry them around with agm and Ace for more precise placement. And you can assemble and disassemble them into small backbacks which can be stored in other backbacks, too.

Take the skylake 6700k and winserv 2012 r2 Pimp it as far you can go and trimm the outgoing transfer as low as possible without destroying the game experience. -

I hope that the fortify behaviour will be fixed if transfered to hc. Right now they stop after a few seconds or don't even start moving. -

You need to install the "normal Desktop" Steam on the Server to Install Arma with it. Then you can choose to be in the Beta Programm ( Dev Version ). This option is only available for desktop Steam, not steamcmd. This is available for Linux, too. But needs a GUI of course. But you need a second account with a arma license to do this. This is all what i know about it. May be wrong ... -

Is it really the Standard Edition or Hyper-V? Normally the Standard Edition can be tested up to 180 Days ... Hyper-V is for free. Where did you get your ISO? Seems suspicious ... /Edit 3 Minutes of google ... -

I think he is making one big database for the terrain analyse, so every fight will improve the AI worldwide instead of one server alone. You sure you can provide a server which can handle this? I would offer to spend some money for a dedicated high performance server for this challenge if needed. Jesus, i offer you a VM on my Root if needed :D -

I only have german sources to explain you thats is what you see is a problem with windows and "trying single thread stuff making into multi thread stuff without success" thing. It fools you. Arma Dedicated Server have perfect multicore support? Perfect core balancing? Over 32 threads? Seriously? This isn´t a scientific optimized high-performance programm. Its Arma. /Edit Oh wait, your german too :P /Edit2 Intel Turbo Boost and Windows Issue. /Edit3 After some more information is to say: It can make some little performance tweaks but nothing big Even i can now make some optimization after this stuff, just to trust the load-scheduler might work or not. Have to test it. But Arma is simply a single-thread-application and do like high core frequency per core more then just more cores. Because of that, 6700K might be the best CPU for ARMA. Overclock it as long as is stable and run with it. I would prefer to run the dediserver on the i7 machine and the HC, split into 4 ( 2 Core per HC ), on the Xeon CPU. But i guess the i7 is at home? Normally you should have no performance issues. And forget HT, its useless. HC is only a good support for the dedi and cant replace CPU power. The dedi still need very much power. Next thing is optimizing the network settings. Yes, the higher to output and the more clients are connected the slower the dedi gets without having more script or AI load. And i think here is the bottleneck: Your CPU setting for the dedi have not enough power. Multicore and HT does not exist in Arma! (Only Singleplayer) My system is a i7, too. Having a rashmaan map with 3000+ objects and still getting more and more. With a good selection of "enableSimulation false" ( thanks to Xcam ) on the most objects reduce the load about 60% and more. I had one time the wrong Simulation setting on and the server was nearly not playable. After 40 AIs on HC everything was nuts. But i dont have so many players, just a clanserver. But here i go with the Network code optimizing again. Sometimes i have the feeling arma is "waiting" to finish all the network stuff before doing something else again. Its not running parallel to other scripts and stuff. Just a feeling. -
The Playername is too fast and easy faked. UID not. Just LoggedAdmin have access to XCam would be enough, too. I don´t wanna make it more complicated as needed but safe.

Hm ... i´m wondering whats about the newest version: I can´t throw as far as in the videos, the explosions ist FAR greater ( have to run up to 30-40m ) and i cannot see the cluster grenade. All NATO, CSAT Units tested, no cluster granate in VA, with or without any mods. And the satchel is way to powerful.

Nice to have a counter for the AI so i can check when die avg.FPS begin to be high enough to be useful. Vanilla System: With our Repository ( 18GB Heavy, many many Mods and AI Stuff like ASR, VcomDriving, MCC ) System: Intel i7 4790 // 4x3,6 Ghz (Turbo Boost deactivated ) Host ESXi 5.5 free Guest WinServer2008R2 I didnt check how the HC support is wörking and whether the AI is completely transferred to HC or not. It was only a quick check! I´m doing later several tests ( 5~10 ). It would be nice to see if you continue to work on this piece, maybe with avg/max traffix send/receive! Even a multiple HC Support would be nice for cluster-testing! Pretty, Pretty Useful :) Thank you all for this. The only thing bothering me is the "remaining AI" factor. Maybe you should force the AI to an level so we can better compare! Would be nice if some more dudes share their benchs :)

bCombat should only installed on server and not on a client, then nearly everything should be fine. But bCombat is more scripted then ASR so ... ASR is more performant. -
Hiho, Didn´t find any clear documentation about this: Is any kind of DLC Content free anviable in MP like the Vest or the Bipods? I knew the fact that you cannot use the weapons without buying the DLC, but what about the rest? Or is everything marked as BI DLC stuff locked for other players? PS: Cannot test because i bought the bundle
