    Actually, I think I saw a "statement" once. If I remember correctly, it was Jay (I think it was him) explaining it in a forum post, that they cut it because it was to futuristic. Maybe I'll try to find it probably not

    Question towards development branch

    Copy your ArmA 3 Stable folder. Change to dev. Copy the folder again. Now simply past the version in you want to play (don't forget to switch in steam aswell). Little bit annoying, but so far the only way to switch between Stable and Dev without downloading everytime (as far as I know)

    I might be a little bit late, but I'll try to summarize what I have seen so far in this thread: People not minding about the delay of the campaign metalcraze still thinking cars have no gearboxes in ArmA 3 (Spoiler: They do) Guess that makes him a liar then People disliking the delay of the campaign because they like to play SP People disliking the delay of the campaign because it makes ArmA 3 a "unfinished product" People disliking the delay of the campaign because they think it will give ArmA 3 bad reviews What I don't understand, why would we want good reviews anyway? That would only make more people buy ArmA 3 thus introducing more new players to the game. And we don't want new players because noobs are baaaaaaad. AmIright? Sarcasm

    Since I don't have a detailed map of Altis I can't confirm or deny that. I guess we have to wait until release. But in Pre-E3 livestream #2 they gave us an short glimpse (>2 secs) on an area that looked like it had massive cities + I remember reading in a PCGAMER magazin preview on ArmA 3 last September that the biggest city is about 2.5 bigger then Cherno (not quite sure, I'll try to find it) Edit: You found it. But I still would say, that an city 2.5 times the size of Cherno is a "massive city" for a game. And apart from blurriness (which you can turn off) and incrased weapon sway. But I agree with you, that someone with heavier loadout sould jog slower overall. It is BF2.

    Actually, the Capital of the real island Lemnos is about 80km^2 big. Scale that down to 75% and you'll get 60km^2. I would describe that as massive for a game. I just tested it. With Sniper rifle + Rocket Launcher my character stopped sprinting after 16 seconds. In underpants it took him around 45 seconds until he stopped sprinting. I'm not quite sure what you mean? You can sprint for ever in Battlefield 3...
  9. Judging by the lighthouse in the background, I would say that those are indeed the target practice buldings from Kamino firing range. None the less, I think you should explore Stratis a littebit more tyl3r99. You'll find all kinds of abandoned/destroyed buldings at Stratis :p Also, can you show us an screenshot? Just to make sure it isn't a issue on your end.

    You know what an Beta is, right? riiiiiight? They are probably already aware of the problem (many objects still only have a question mark as Icon). If you still believe that attention must be brought to this issue, post an ticket on the Feedback Tracker(if there isn't one already)

  14. Final. If I recall correctly a Nvidia Dev said on the Nvidia forums, that they are working on it and that they will wait until release.

    SDV Interior While Underwater

    The SDV does not have a pressure chamber. The personel room will be flooded if you go unterwater with it. But yeah, the personel needs to equip rebreathers and googles. Regarding the the gear, if you check out that latest development build then you'll see that they added an option to acess the inventory (e.g. from vehicles).

    Gas weapons are already hinted by the ingame fieldmanual And there are rumors around that there will be equipable gas masks (could be that those are scrapped now, so don't get your hopes up) Also, this is the wrong forum for your thread.     If you opened up the editor in the Alpha and placed a unit you could select as faction "Independent" and as soilder "Greek Army". They changed that to "Green Army" with one of the latest updates, but there is still a screenshot of it somewhere on this forums

    Server Browser and Steamworks.

    We had this discussion just yesterday and a few months ago. Everything is still work in Work In Progress-> a improved server browser might come, might not come. And since ArmA 3 is Steam exclusive, it is already using Steamworks (althought not every feature of Steamworks...yet)

    Didn't we already had the discussion about possible Steam features integrated in ArmA 3 a few months ago? I think it ended with a Developer saying that they are considering it and that everything is still Work In Progress. They game is still in Alpha stage, more Steam related features might be added trough the course of development. Just wait and see.....
