    Keep up the good work. It's not easy putting together such a huge project like the USAF. Let alone just doing a few models. Takes a lot more time than most think. Check out for example GameDev Byrne's videos on model making. Shows how much goes into just one model for physics, shadows, movement, weapons, configs, etc.

  3. Fuel depletion for vehicles needed. As it is now, hardly any use for fuel trucks which is sad it's not incorporated into the base vanilla game. You can drive forever and never need fuel. Can you add into a module or script to run on dedicated servers for fuel uptake? The one thing that's missing badly in Arma3 is shorter fuel time. The islands are half the size, so the fuel should be double the speed of fuel consumption. The script doesn't cancel and replace the default, it adds to it and the base consumption of ground vehicle is already greater.

  8. Nope. -- Euro spelling of JerriCan. It's JerryCan here in the west. Guess over there in Germany it's Jerri. I used name can CAN1 and so on [CAN1] remoteExecCall ["ACE_refuel_fnc_makeJerryCan",0]; - Works on dedicated MP.
  9. This is a great idea to have a ton of patches in one place. Too bad that you couldn't talk with Bohemia and convince them to submit all of these tabs and patches directly in arsenal. Good luck if you ever decide to try that and ask them if they can integrate that for you into the game library and not as a mod.
  10. Care to elaborate further please? Nowhere in the over complex written script I find that it will support running MP hosted with dedicated servers. Only in SP. should remote call be placed in object or another script? I've tried both. No results.

From what I have experienced...When using modules the ACE > Advanced Ballistics Module - Make sure you have advanced ballistics tab Disabled in FullAuto set to YES, otherwise it will calculate each and every bullet ballistic drop for machinegun automatic weapons. This will definately cause fps drops. Hope that helps.

Regarding the jerry can script found https://github.com/acemod/ACE3/blob/master/addons/refuel/functions/fnc_makeJerryCan.sqf Most games are hosted from dedicated servers and in that old piece of code, it doesn't appear to be set up to run that script server side. It won't work in it's current state.
  13. Thanks. Name the can or any object Can1 then put in field [Can1] call ace_refuel_fnc_makeJerryCan; Action shows when running on local pc. Action does not show when hosting with dedicated server. Is there another command required in init field when using with dedicated server?
  14. I read that. It has actions for cans. What I'm asking is how do you make the cans work? Module, add action, ace action. Normal JerryCan objects don't seem to work.

    Igi-PL has now configured igiload logistics script to work with the new CH-53E models. I think he's working on making more of the trucks compatible too. You have to get the cargo about 5m close, but possible to load and unload. (A big thanks to Igi ! You the man.) Now hopefully you will work more on the CH-53E to have it with ACE3 features, repairable and ace cargo. But the Mrap cars need some interior texture. Whenever you get around to it. Thanks.

    [WIP] Female base model project

    For awhile there I was beginning to think the Greek islands were full of divorcee men and the women had run off with all of the furniture. Glad to see this mod being made. I know women who play arma and they want a better avatar. The mission makers would like more options in the library to choose from civies too. Best of luck with making it.
  18. Thank you for creating this mod. Fun to fly, (especially with Track IR5) encourages coop play with pilot, co-pilot and crews to work together. Good texture detailing and works well with ACE3 mod.

    Congrats on the update. Merry Xmas to the mod team. Nice additions with CH53E and Howitzer. - I'll have to dig out my old range table from A2 to see if it works again with the d30. Keep working on the US side when you get around to it. The Mraps need some interior texture :)

    If you carry too much shit, put it in a truck. Don't lug a toolbox and equipment equal to 30 bowling balls around with you. Come back to an outpost or mobile vehicle where you can resupply. Call in ammo, get some friends and have them help carry supplies if you need them. It's not the final version. It might take them five times to get something right.

    1.54 Fatigue is too Unrealistic

    I enjoy this new Stamina system. It may not be the final version but it's sad to see people complain about how it should be and just enjoy it, play it or don't play it. When gamers are in a world they take on an entitled attitude, the game should do what I want it to do. This is why I guess people get upset when a game has ambiguous endings and they get upset if it's not exactly what they expect. As this game or any artform, you can have your own interpretation of it, but what you are going to get is what the artist gives you. You can like or dislike it just fine, but you can't expect the artist to change it because of what you want because you might be dissapointed.. Now to go change mass effect, Scorsese movie endings and put some eyebrows on the Mona Lisa. pfft. Risk of the consumer people. It might not work out the way you want it too. - The game industry is in such a weird state of mind where it wants to be taken seriously. There's a little bit of something for everybody. Enjoy.

    ADuke's Kiowa Pack

    The main reason is that Bohemia decided to keep the fantasy future and use the Commanche which was to be the replacement for the kiowa as a front line spotter, light scout helo. Instead in real life, the project was cancelled, too expensive and Army rejected it. So instead the money was redirected to upgrading the Kiowa and Apache fleets to have a very good system in place that was already working but needed more electronics. Crazy how history works and Arma does the "what if this had happened". style. The Commanche flew but I'm sure it would have been an intersting part and a very expensive part of the Military.

    Suggestion for future updates: Next time you update, Seems that it's alright to keep everything in on large download file that keeps it simple, makes it easier for my friends to find and download in one place instead of breaking it up among bunches of hotfixes and small patches that sometimes those patch download locations are broken and then you cannot gather up all of the files. Try the method that RHS group uses with a possible updater file or placing it on a mega upload server site like they did. I personally don't have any issues gathering files and moving them to the appropriate locations, sorting and repatching etc. With one file in one location it keeps it simple for when I see friends or new players that want to try the mod but find it difficult to find and download all of the small hotfix files. Best to recommend please keep all in one large file for a redownload.
  25. Crazy how people are buying the Toyota Hilux trucks and giving them over to these groups. Even Top Gear showed off how tough they can survive which now made them the truck of choice for warzones. Awesome ideas for Arma. Good work.
