  7. Hey guys, some of you know that my actual side job is music production. I'm currently in Denmark at the place of a fellow producer, Daniel Kandi. Check out his music, well worth it! :) Anyway, I can't give you a release window yet and the time I'm able to spend on the mod will decrease, too. Buuuut I can answer your technical questions. So far, noone complained about DynaSound's performance. I didnt do scientific FPS comparisons yet, but I never had lagging sounds or anything like that. The mod itself will be 100% local, nothing is transfered over the network. It will of course work in MP, but you will only be able to hear the distant _explosion_ sounds of your own weapons until the guys at BI fix an event handler issue which I'm too lazy to search for atm. :p If someone else e.g. throws a grenade, you will hear the regular DS grenade sound being regulary filtered by ArmAs sound engine.   12. Damn straight :) I wanna redo the HMG sounds. Then "all" I gotta do are the sounds for rocket launchers/missile launchers on vehicles. This should be done by the end of next week or the week after that one, but I know that I'll try to tweak and rework as many sounds as possible. I want a polished release in all aspects. Just a little heads-up. :) P.s: Wait till you hear the smgs. Those are my favourites so far. Trtrtrtrtr :D

  14. Dude, this one is blowing me away right now. It got a very unique feel, is huge and still fairly detailed in the "right" places. Got some FPS drops here and there but... hey. Amazing work, buddy!
  15. I guess :p Performance is "okay", I guess, I never really measured it but there pretty much were no FPS drops. Huge ai battles shall be made, tho!
  16. A little heads-up: Huge progress was made and I pretty much covered every smallarm by now. Missing are the FNP-45 pistol, the SDAR and four marksmen DLC rifles. They should be done by the end of next week, the focus will be on heavy/vehicle weapons after that. Not saying it will be released anytime "soon", but the release definitely is coming in sight! Maybe 1-3 months from now. Maybe less.
