    elm ahh i had that the other day when i went from stable to dev it won't let you place a unit the fix for me was check the steam install validate files after that it was all gravy again. Also I have done everything in the guide for getting a unit in game using tk civs and guerrillas. I have converted all models but when i pbo them up and put them in game using mbg_old_usarmy config tut it loads ingame but when placed says the p3d can't be found and its invisible and half out the floor the path is correct as i have got units in from a1 samples but are these still locked in some way .

    Some terrains use both utes and cherno or even oa content so splitting it might break custom terrains, on Sangin I use both a2 and oa content .

    @Progamer the pools of water I did add in but when I drove through them the tanks and vehicles sank in 30cm of water they went up to their roofs it was like quicksand their is a knife edge for testing incline washboard can be added I have tried to not make the tracks small and smooth I have roughed some ground up for testing.

Yes sorry was getting lost writing it what I mean is to have 2 virtual drives one for a2 one for a3 mirrored off two different hard drives D: drive = P:\ and K: drive = Q:\ should of explained myself better my set up is this for hard drives C:\ os and arma2 game and all dlc only 60gb ssd D:\ arma3 game toh arma1 plus its mirrored my virtual P:\ 500gb E:\56gb F:\176gb G:\65gb H:\64gb I:\64gb K:\ arma3 hard drive and I would like to mirror a virtual Q:\ .250gb I know it wasn't needed but it keeps it tidy the way its been cheers for the reply

Just one question I have a 60gb main drive for arma3 and just the os which is tight on space I have my main p: drive set off my d: drive for a2 but when i do the guide for the subst (I changed p for q so not to mess my a2 p: drive up) q: users\smokedog\documents\A3Work it creates the q: drive off my c: drive leaving me no space, would you or anyone else mind letting me and others know a way to have two virtual drives a2 p: drive and and q:drive for arma3 not linking to c: drive or d: drive I got a new HD so i can just have a3 work on it cheers for the help and guide.
  9. I just had a 8 hour testing session and wow guys its more than I expected chucked in vas ammobox nimitz and the 29 lhd as a starting platform for bluefor its epic already thanks for the youtube guides as well.

The buildings trees bushes roads signs rocks clutter need to be in one pack really so the terrains can come over with ease I think it will need a mod team to achieve it, yes I will help out if we can get moving with a mod team. I am with you kju, but like we see with alot of a1 sample models the source data is not there like the eula says it should be point in question ffaa guys made the terrorista vehicles with the a1 models but no source is available, so I pm the guys that made them a few times to ask for the mlods and nothing comes back breaking the eula for source to be shared.

    Any info on towable vehicles and shock waves yet, I thought it would be documented by now as the games been out for a while now but not so many features that was stated in confirmed features thread are in game or it doesn't seem to be there for me ? also on the tools side can we get a helicopter of some sort and boat and plane for the sample mlods so we can get some mods out or even wiki pages updated as I can only see the car tutorial on the wiki.

    Cheers that's a big complement but not sure if its deserved yet lol. We were talking about the Lulworth cove area if I can get this wrapped up quick it may well be in the pipe line. Good news on my hard drive hopefully at the end of the month I can get it sent off and fixed giving the community a good xmas prez with stanta training area Waziristan new sangin and belfast plus the 300 plus addons on it 2 years work I hope will be salvaged.

    lol I have been there every year for over 36 years, the parents took me there every holiday as it was only down the road from where we staying now I do the same with the kids. I remember the battle days big shows tanks and choppers re enacting action force and cobra now called gi joe, rides on the stolly and big zip lines second hand military shows grab yourself a nice deactivated weapon the good old days sigh now I am left with the Aldershot show that is getting smaller and smaller each year and no rides allowed were did it all go wrong. lol

Hi all just want to gage how bad battleye is for others our GU has 2 servers up a private and a public, over the last 2 weeks battleye has got to a point were we can no longer use or get in our servers as soon as you join your kicked with backpack cargo errors or other messages we were on the dev so reverted back to stable thinking it might fix it but its just the same kicked from server. Does any one have some advice other than turning battleye off don't mind the private not running it but the public needs it as its costing the gu money to hire severs that battleye wont let us use. Its really starting to piss me off that its so bad lately that we cant use what we have or get players on.

    Well I would be working on my terrains but oh yes the tools are held back for another 2 months and the mlods for a2 still are not released so all our a2 maps will take as long as bis wants before we can continue porting our hard work to A3.

    Sorted it now cheers milkman not sure what was going on just used the sangin config and its working but I have dropped a few ground texture just using the 2 now till i get my head back round it to get all 5 working.

    cheers I'm only a couple of hours in just got to sort the clutter bit out, I am a bit embarrassed as can't get them working at the moment lol. Be glad when the tools get here just gutted we have to wait even longer again for vis4.

    I doubt they will as I reported a few sites way back that had all the oa and a2 content on them and guess what there still there a year later.:(

The intro for the missions was all stuttery for me it did not run smooth while playing, after that it seemed good all of the couple of minutes I got to drive before my 20 month old daughter decided she wanted to have a go on my steering wheel and she ended up driving me to the checkpoint, she enjoyed it too

    still some furniture from a1 sample mlods to be ported, beds chairs tables pictures and sorts ive made a start on it already an a1 objects pack untill the a2 sample models are released.

    its kind of hard to make a detailed looking terrain with not many objects to place down in oxygen to make it look how you want, it just makes more work and will make terrains take longer as we will have to make our own objects to get the terrains to be believable that they are lived in\on
