    How Long And How Much Work To Build Future New Engine?

    Yep. It's the future engine. It's just missing the military AI from the base. The SQF will be gone and replaced by EnScript. One cool small feature was added recently, I believe in just in the current Experimental. One extra bullet in the chamber. Also taken from the DayZ roadmap post: Bohemia Interactive fully plans on continuing work on DayZ past 1.0 for at least a targeted 5 years" That really confirm that the engine won't be just dumped and it will get developed a lot.
  2. First Fforget Experience. You don't do anything with that. Tune the settings in-game. I've never heard about that view distances gets optimized automatically by the game to the some certain point. The server, mission or some addon/script can force or not let you go beyond something with your in-game settings. Also some servers/gamemodes are using some kind of a view distance script that you need access in the mission via scroll menu or shift+U or something like that. You tune that first and then tune your in-game settings. You're maybe playing in a server and/or mode that doesn't let you go beyond 1500/900 or if it does only way to go beyond that is to find some scripted menu like in the scroll menu or some key combination. Saying the server and mod or gamemode would help a lot.

    I think it's good that the old system gave you an option to push so much that it would've been better to change into a walk for some time and then run again. Actual forced walk doesn't sound good for other than if you're carrying too much weight like it's currently. Making walking or stopping a better option in some cases is the way to go in my opinion. That way you've more options and running for your life with the animation slowdown behind a cover might be sometimes the best option even if you're constantly 100% fatigued. Force walking gives you less options because then you would be either walking to the cover or you would be laying on the ground catching your breath. It was cool with the old fatigue and animation slowdowns, that it gave you an option to push way too far with the running and in some cases that can be the best option because you've done a mistake that is costing you now.

  5. Arma 3 Launcher has worked for me like a charm. Always use the launcher from the installed folder. The Arma3GU.exe didn't work with launch parameters or mods or something for me if I remember right. Also my mods are installed and detected with the launcher. Have you defined the mod installation folder for the launcher because that was added some pathces ago? Maybe you need to set that up first.

  9. The weapon sway and holding is feeling nice again in the current dev branch. But I think you need to tune the breathing sounds because they give feedback too late. The weapon is already swaying when you get out of breath. The out of breath sound needs to start at the same time or just 0.1s before the gun starts to sway.

    Anyway to add so the more gear you've the more the animations will slower? Or something that introduces animation slowing back again, I think that's now only thing really missing. Just add something like that and it feels great! Because 99% load can still jog but 101% can only walk and I think some transition needs to be in here. Oh and binocular and unarmed cheating is still possible. Having binocular or nothing in your hands consumes 0% if you jog.
  11. Nice! Though I think more yellowish green would've been better. But I guess the green varies a lot from gun to gun and it's just a personal preference.

    The interesting part is why it's gaining altittude that much before it starts to loose speed? It goes 3000-4000ft up in a minute suddely. If it has techical difficulties like engine problems that move made it maybe stall then.

    I didn't even know that ground has better bullet holes. Maybe eye catches those wall bullet holes too often.

    GTA V uses health system so if you run much you start to lose health. I can understand the logic because you could exhaust yourself so you faint if you really push and have right mentality but it doesn't feel good system in my opinion because losing health is way too extreme. People will likely slow down and/or find cover before that happens. Also you naturally start to slow down from the full speed no matter what. At least I don't feel health decrease to be a good system. Accidentally pushing too far and you start to ask medic to patch you up :D

    Performance in my opinion is odd

    1. Arma is optimized poorly for AMD hardware and fails to utilize them enough - GPUs are okay. They just can't utilize themselves fully because of other bottlenecks. The rendering doesn't go enough fast through the processor so that's why GPU utilization can be low. There just is no work to do for the GPU when it's waiting for other stuff. 2. My components are too under powered to actually run Arma at get a stable FPS It's those combined. Arma doesn't like too much AMD CPUs, so they're underpowered for Arma and the engine isn't so optimized that it could utilize CPUs to get full usage in them. AMD single core perormance and all that isn't par with Intel.The engine pushes a lot of stuff through the first core and when that boggles down, everything else also gets the same effect.

    OK making Chaos Warrior as a first day DLC is so low move that I don't know how they even dare. Chaos is the core race in Warhammer Fantasy. You know Chaos Warrior Harald Hammerstorm aka. "Harry The Hammer" is covering the first edition rulebook of Warhammer Fantasy.

    @mamasan8 It's still your preference. You can play the campaign with the current fatigue. It's bit slower but you can. If you can't cope with that running 2km in AO in Domination or those gamemodes then try demand transport that gets you closer or deal with it. If you need to carry so much weight that it takes you jog 2km in 30min then either you're doing something wrong or the coop in the server isn't enough good. If you don't like any kind of fatigue then as you have seen there are plenty of servers that suits you. Transport to the AO in those mods can sometimes take a freaking long time because of bad luck or AA threat is so big that it needs to be eliminated first. I guess you leave the server also then?

    Some aren't even allowed to port forward. So if you have that situation then you can go for bridge mode. Note that going in bridge mode disables some securities in your modem/router, so you likely want to get it back to normal after your gaming session.

    It's a thing you need yo live with. You can't just call med cargo or anything like that unless the mission maker has actually made that option possible. Usually squad has a medic that you can order or call to heal you. But if it's dead, then be ready to listen the moaning.

    What audio devices/program/driver you use? Surround, is it virtual, stereo, what headphones/sets and so on? Some very small crackling happens because of the transmission issues with PhysX but I guess you have bigger issue?

    Sony Ericsson Xperia Active. 3" screen, maybe only modern touch screen mobile that's enough small for me and fits in a pocket very well. Everyone always asks what is this phone because it's so small. http://m.gsmarena.com/sony_ericsson_xperia_active-3998.php This would be a dream phone if I could delete all the shit apps like Google Play and stuff that consumes so much memory that WhatsApp is like the only app that I can have in this. Modern phones come with so much useless stuff... Need to test if it's possible to delete all the not needed apps when I reset this in the factory settings in near future. 4 years served well, only needed to change battery once and I plan to keep this for a quite some time until I find similar phone.Too much memory (RAM and inner) needed nowadays because of all the stupid apps and shitty Google stuff.
