I got an error on Lythium regarding some addons that I did not have (misc_ramps, afghan_houses, etc). Not sure if it's the same error but I went in mission.sqm and deleted those addons and it's working again. -

The closest i've found is crCTI Kastenbier missions and crCTI Proman mod .. easy to build up defenses in towns you conquer and if it's a main town it will get attacked frequently. Works great with AI / Coop. -

I believe it's due to the server if they have friendly tags turned on because on some servers when you point your weapon at someone on your side, you should see the green tag pop-up notifying you that they are friendly in Warlords. Also, I tend to look a little more closely at their uniform, helmet, and what main weapon they are carrying if friendly tags are not turned on. -

Hi pSiKO, I copied the aircraft carrier and everything on it (markers, objects) from the Stratis map to Altis but when I respawn on base_chimera I just fall through the aircraft carrier. What snippet of code allows you to respawn correctly on the aircraft carrier?- 886 replies

Hey Boss, the OFPS team has recruited Benny to continue working on beCTI. I could not find anywhere to download the actual files but search the server browser in Arma for "OFPS" and join to download the latest mission. I have no problem loading the mission on my own server for some beCTI fun, and there are alot of improvements over the .097 versions. The mission is obfuscated so you can't edit it but there are tons of parameters you can play with to your liking. I find the current beCTI runs exceptionally well for AI with lower load than older or modded versions but if you're looking to freeing up more CPU cycles, look into Arma 3 headless client which distributes the AI processing amongst active players. https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3_Headless_Client Good luck soldier!

Getting some startup errors about missing addons on the newly released v1.60. A3_Soft_F_Truck, A3_Soft_F_MRAP_03, etc.. I fixed it by editing out those addons in mission.sqm and then exporting to singleplayer. -

Skanda, by adding the backpack does this cause them not to yell "out of ammo" any longer? I always thought it was because they don't spawn with any pistol ammo. -

Maybe after Tanoa so I can port that and see whatever new vehicles there are. I've seen the tasks issue, not working on that. I'm poking more at the mod compatibility stuff. -

That's great to hear Saok! On my own i've been poking at the code and making it fully RHS 0.4.0.1 compatible, ported it to other islands, squashing some minor bugs and adding features I like. Your code can be messy in places and I see some stuff from Arma2 floating around but I can see how much work was put into this and really appreciate you giving to the fans and the community. -

Saok, I want to only play with RHS vehicles so I edited the mod options from shift+1 to only have all RHS vehicles, click 'save' then 'reset veh zone'. A majority of the vehicles changed to RHS yet I still get some random Arma 3 vehicles spawning such as green army reinforcement hunters and some CSAT mobile artillery that spawned while patrolling. How is that supposed to work? Do you think I need to reset the map i'm playing completely from start? -

You have to 'restart' mission then click "Continue Save". The way Arma works, I have to do this everytime I play. For AI mods I use ASR & TPW mods - in combination I notice the AI will engage at longer distances, use cover, react to shots fired at them and target me alot quicker than the standard AI. -

DLC weapons and vehicles are automatically added to the mission since they are already included in Arma 3 by default. If you don't want to see those annoying advertisements for the DLC, do not pickup and use any of the DLC weapons. Although friendly AI and enemies can still use DLC stuff - it is nice to see some of the DLC choppers flying around dropping off troops like the dual rotor Huron, you will get a message to buy the DLC when actually trying to fly or drive DLC vehicles. But I agree, it is really lame with the BIS in-game advertising. Because of this, I purposely did not buy their DLC nonsense - there are so many better mods out there anyway! -

Singleplayer here as well. Currently i'm playing on Altis on top of one of the big hills with a military base on top, I like to take over the minimum areas around it then I build it up into a big firebase with heavy defenses and mobile artillery to pummel surrounding cities to rubble when I spot enemies. Random encounters and missions are just icing on the cake. Great mission, great fun. Thank you Saok! -
Benny, I have a suggestion for the construction menu - either as commander or using the MVTR Repair Truck. It would be great to have the ability to place (aka "float") heavy mg, mortars, tow, AA, sandbags and other fortifications on top of buildings. And also the ability to make the half and full ladders to access building roofs, giving the advantage of constructing a small FOB on some of the highest buildings in a city I just took over!

What you are looking for are "Warfare" missions. I've collected 16 Warfare missions for Invasion 1944 from various authors (Oden, Benny's, servers) for 10+ or so islands and put them in a file. Recommended to to played on a dedicated server. http://www.sendspace.com/file/fly1s7 -
Crcti definitely slows down after a few hours for me due to the amount of a.i. running around. I notice it doesn't matter if you have a top of the line quad core or whatever.. the a.i. uses the most resources of your computer. Playing on your own computer really sucks the performance that's why I have an extra desktop I use for a dedicated server for increased performance on the client computer and it's easy to monitor the server stats - I will usually get 5-6 fps after a few hours with crcti, a.i. stops moving and an 'out of memory' error that crashes the server frequently. The only thing that helps is having a groupsize of 6 for a.i. but it will only extend the game for another hour or so for me. Most other versions of crcti (angry insects, xr) and warfare (oden, proton, awp) run even worse on my server after some time. Conversely, Benny's warfare latest v038 build is amazing - I have been running average over 100 hours per game (4 days or so) and the fps rarely dips below 15fps for me and the a.i. keeps fighting.. even with a.i. groupsize of 10. Just goes to show you the hard work and constant updates Benny has been making really pays off for the Arma community. Too bad there's no more progress with crcti as I find the a.i. was more aggressive and there is more action in my opinion.

Awesome work Oden, adds alot to Arma 2. Question: Is Oden Warfare 5 compatible with dedicated server? I spawn in the middle of a field by myself and unable to play. Is there a separate download for ded servers?

Is there a way for all vehicles to be created unlocked? It doesn't work the same way from arma1 warfare and haven't found anything new in the forums.
