And BTW is there any chance to add an end life effect to tracers\HE bullets\HE shells ? This effect is very well noticable in this video When the HE shell reaches its limits the self detonation occurs, some kind of small explosion happens in the air. And the tracers burning-out with a some kind of blinking effect. Thanks!

Hey, I've tried your's latest Blastcore mods. Looks way better than previous versions. Really good work! I've noticed that the air units wrecks lack dynamic lights on them, especially when they are lying on the ground. No one knows, I'm afraid. Threre is no working solution at the moment. Talking about zoom, there are few games and demos for DK2, I can say that zoom works fine in them (tested myself). The first one was Discovering Space demo, the second was Prepar3d with DCOC v2 mod.

I've found an interesting video about working Oculus Rift DK2 in Arma 2. Altis is a very beautiful island! I don't know, maybe it is just me and this is kinda placebo effect but when I took a jeep and drove through the island it seems that jeeps physics (inertia), the lighting, the sharp picture - everything became better. And I've got a nice overall feeling about Arma 3 form early alpha to latest beta build. I like it.

What do I do wrong, I can't see any 3d scopes/optics in BETA right now. The same magnify level inside and outside of the sight is present. And looks like zooming in is kinda wierd and twitchy for me. Is it bugged?

Search function? Where is it, where is a button? I can only see "issue #" window and jump button, but what ever is typed there return an "APPLICATION ERROR #203" with a note - A number was expected for bug_id. nevermind, found it :j: -

Very good idea. I hope BI engineers and designers could achieve better results than we have in Alpha currently. I think that even mip-map downgrading will not harm this tecnique. Only one problem could happen if this feature will be adjustable in Video prferences menu, cos some one may turn it off to see the enemy better and will get advantage over other players. -
Agreed. Nice idea. At least future ACE mod could have such failures.

Xfire still doesnt work correctly with ARMA 2 on vista 64 bit. I tried a lot of things to fix .ini file myself. First of all, somehow the game was registered in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Bohemia Interactive Studio\ArmA 2\MAIN but not in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\MAIN as it shown in examples. Secondly, I've hardly made Xfire recognize ARMA 2 on my PC fiddling .ini file, however, it still shows [5856=1] (Xfire.ini) - Steam version, in spite of the fact i have dvd version. When I launch the game through Xfire, I cant see xfire's interface, except FPS counter and time. Besides that, performance strangely falls down. -

With patch 1.03 installed I still have target lock problem on T-90, BMP-3, BTR-90, if I want to use guided missiles (shells). It also happened in 1.02 version. What I noticed is that square marker (target lock) appears if I use main gun in T-90, 20 mm gun in BMP-3 and main gun in BTR-90. Looks like that something mixed up right now. What should I do? -
Hello! Can someone tell me how do I make movie from another angle, say I want to fly su-25 then I want to see action from another point of view? Is there any possibility to record .demo file in ARMA2?

I know how to do that (i played OFP and ARMA1) But it doesn't work now. And I cant clearly remember when it begins. RMB (holding or pressing once) or Tab make no sense.

I have targeting bug too. But in my case it happens with t-90 "Refleks" and BMP-3 "Konkurs" systems. Target Lock doesnt work if i playing as a gunner. If I am commander and AI is a gunner he can easily lock and destroy a target if I ask him to do that. I tested this in editor too, but dint notice any difference.
