When i activate low PIP in vehicles my frames jump down from 60 (Mutliplayer SaMatras Wasteland 1000 m view) to 40 --- Thats way to much. Isnt it optimized jet? [email protected], 7950@1Ghz, 8GBRAM, SSD

Play SaMatra Wasteland it has 20-30 FPS more then other Wasteland mods.

Most Problems are Server Side, cause in Arma Series Servers can and will limit the FPS. High End Systems are some times useless. Good Server Hardware and Configuration with less Players are a way to get good FPS. Patches to the Server-Client from BIS too..

Got Freezes too Random with 5785 ; All Versions minor 5785 seem to work. Freezes are like 1-3 hours playtime. Never had it with 3718. I use no VON.

Hey i am playing with the Editor. How can i show damage that weapons do and soldiers/vehicles ? I saw this on Youtube(dayz has some servers that show player damage). Or is there a mod/addon that shows the damage on vehicles/Soldiers that i can download?

Hey i have dsl 50000k with 7000 kbps upload but no matter how i configured the dedi server i always got big desync in coop missions which i play alone on a second pc! Both pc are win764 8gb Ram with [email protected] and ssd. So what settings ? Minimum Bandwith i set to 768 cause i only wanna play with max 3 people..me and 2 friends via internet. Maximum messages i tried 50 and 500 nothing happens when theres shooting or things going on big lag... Where can i find the weapon damage? http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/CfgWeapons_Config_Reference Cant find it here. http://browser.six-projects.net/cfg_weapons or here or in the ammo configs. I am looking to the weapon damage some dayz-mods do. i.e. the dmr does 8000 "Blood" Damage. How do i get this value? Thanks in advance!

Hey i cant get this soundmod to work, i want to play wasteland with this soundmod and the latest beta. i tried arma2launcher and sixlauncher. no way.. whats the correct shortcut? i own: arma 2, arma 2 OA, BAF and PMC. Strange Thing about Arma Series is that the Server can limit the FPS you get. It happens after some Time in Arma 2 or on bad Servers. In Arma3 it happnes after a few minutes on most Servers, because i assume the Serves are not good optimized, and the admins must learn how to configure. Anyway, this is a fact and has mostly nothing to do with your GFX Settings. But i cant explain it, why would a server limit the FPS my GPU at Home can render? Perhaps a Arma2 Vet or a BIS Member can explain?

This is what i got: The Server: Win764, 8GigRam and [email protected] SSD Arma 2 / Arma 2 OA installed with the latest 102591 Beta Patch. Downloaded the Tool TA2DST 1.4: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?104991-Tophe-s-ArmA2-Dedicated-Server-Tool-(TA2DST) Set up a Server with this Tool and Pointed to the aram2oaserver.exe; selected a Mission (tried random ones) and start the server. Ta2DST is in the arma 2 oa Root directory. Set Up Gamespy Link. Then the little Server Window comes up: Arma 2 OA COnsole Version 1.60 Port 2302. This Computer is on 192.168.178.24 with the ports 2302 UDP and TCP, 2303 UDP,2305 UDP open in my fritz box config. "Deidicated Host created" "Host identety Created" Now i try to join from my other PC 192.168.178.21 and i see my Server in the Arma2OA Server Browser (I used the latest beta patch too) but with ping 2500. Ok i join and...Joining Game for 5 Seconds.then connection failed. hi me and my friend play dayz- Run fine on my high end machine, arma series eats lot of high end stuff since arma 1--- he has a 8800 GTX . 4 Gig Ram on win764, E4500@3Ghz and all settings on lowest, latest drivers. Still only 15-30 FPS on a good server. all is low off. so arma was never ment for the medium gamer and never will ok.. and dazy is a mod yeah i get it... but can he do some stuff, perhaps go lower ( 3d screen resulution aka downsampling dont give any frames more) Perhaps disable HDR? i dont see an option in the cfg any tipps?

the engine is fucked up. still at the end of 2012.. Sooo much dayz user experience the same, not any rig can take arma cause the engine cant handle it. dont buy this peace of best mil-sim crap fps software if you want a smooth experience. thats it.

Hi, i played arma series since ofp, on different rigs , servers and mods... When i am in big citys all is good like 40-60 fps on high settings @ 1980 Monitor. After aprox. 1 hour gameplay the frames go down to 15-25... I tested on different PC , mods (dayzs, PR, ACE, vanilla) and servers .. MY Rig now is a [email protected] Ghz, 8 Gig RAM, Cruicial SSD, GTX 470 OC and Win7 64. Arma dont takes more then 1 Gig RAM, must i work with maxmem in 2012 or does arma detect my 8 gig and use it ? other options? PS: when i have this 15-25 frames in big city after 1 hour gameplay (big citys are fine when i play under 1 hour) i can set the arma2 gfx settings all to low, and get NO more frames, so i think it is CPU ( on a sandy 4.5 Ghz?? not really..) or most likely RAM or Game bugs...When i rejoin the same server and go in the same city back all is ok..40-60 frames..after an hour or little less..same problem
