    Looks great! Have you considered not only doing this for helicopters, but for any of the ground vehicles that have an interior? The level of immersion would shoot through the roof.

    The Island has all the terrain types, hilly, bumpy, smooth... its beautiful I have no idea why people are complaining about the flatness of the middle, its about damn time everything isn't hilly! A big chunk of the map has hills anyway.

    Well, seems your mod may be closer to a full release soon with all the vehicles and such being staged on the Dev build next week.. Liking the mod so far, loved it back in ArmA 2. Just hoping you change the overall sound of the weapons. (you've probably mentioned something about this on previous pages. To lazy to look)

    Suggestion: Other then bug fixes, don't change anything, its beautiful. Good job! They're are a few bugs here and there, but overall I love the entire maps layout. From hilly, to flat, to wasteland(ish). I may or may not get a infraction or warning for this post, but I just had to congratulate you on the best island in the series.

  10. So, I come in here wondering... Why not make the Night Vision Goggles, and Binoculars use the same 3D the new scopes use? Would improve immersion, and just overall look pretty bad ass! I know I don't represent a big wall of text on why, or how... but the overall idea is in what I've already said. Thoughts?

    The island is FANTASTIC! LOVE IT! The amount of objects, the detail... hands down the best map in the series. No FPS issues really, just some stuttering that's annoying.

    Well, even with the direct criticism about the idea being a bad one. I hope BIS can still do something to freshen up the NVGs and Binoculars, ether by the method I've shown or by something they have up their sleeve. I still believe at least the NVGs could work, as its just a wide screen 3d scope. Like we have now, just not widescreen.

    Hey, its just an idea. Might not work with binoculars... but it could easily work with Night Vision Goggles, since they don't usually have a magnification. I understand the critisism on the idea. But, just tired of playing OFP(2001 - good game though) on a game that's called ArmA 3 that's coming out this year.

    I didn't say I have the answers... but I know it would probably be possible. Maybe connect both eye pieces to make one single field of view? To allow a 3D model scope like view. Here, I'm crappy at photoshop... And I couldn't get a good screenshot of the NVGs while down on a soldiers head. But you get the concept. Basically, like that... but made more pretty by BIS lol This idea COULD work, it is.. the FUTURE after all. Why have a double eye piece NVG and a binocular from the 1960s?
  17. Wow this looks fantastic, I could see many awesome uses with this mod. I must ask, will there be a way to make bridges using this mod? Like a combat unit, with a supply truck full of wood or a certain material, being able to construct a bridge over a 'river' per say to allow movement across?

    They do look really good... think I found a bug though, I was trying to stand next to the rifleman class and it seemed to have had invisible walls... anyone else? Took some screenshots, if you want to use them you can. And I also must ask, will you possibly do this camo on the rifle as well? Good job so far though!

    You can use the Laser Designator to mark targets for attack helis or jets online, or for the computer.. So the people (or AI) flying those can lock onto the painted target (using the laser) and you can watch their bomb or missile fly right into the target.

    Was the Incoming missile sounds added to helicopters in this dev build? Same with lock-on sound? Edit/ I see now that they were, they sound great!

    The open bubble will never happen, you'll have to wait for mods. But, PiP monitors could happen as it would probably be an easy fix or addition to the ghosthawk, and I bet they could make it a wide lens PiP. Now you just have to get the devs attention with this idea before its to late. Edit// Instead of making it a wide lens, you could just place the PiP camera further back on the ghosthawk facing forward, so you could see the first half of your bird and whats in front of it.

    What about something like this? Do you think this would solve issues? Pip #1 (Mock drawings idea) Both screens shows directly in front of Ghosthawk Pip #2(Mock drawings idea) Left monitor shows front left of Ghosthawk, right monitor shows front right of Ghosthawk If they were to do anything, I'd suggest something like that ^ Futuristic and all. Edit - PS. Sorry, not so good at photo editing ;)

    I figure the only thing they could do, is to add a PiP forward facing camera view on one of the on-dash screens. Other then that, the nose of the Stealth Hawk is to large to fit a glass front like the MH9. The MH-9 is a reconnaissance helicopter, that also can deploy a small number of soldiers (usually SF) or have mini-guns plus rocket pods for CAS. One of the negatives of the MH-9/AH-9 is the glass is so large that its not bullet proof.
