    Unopened PBO

    Ive been trying to pack a folder into a PBO, but what do I use? Ive tried addon builder, makepbo, pboproject, nothing is working
  3. I am using Speed of Sound and DynaSound and just recently have been creating my own but I noticed that after the last update the sound mods do not work. I am currently working on my own and Id like to know is there anything I need to include in the "requiredAddons" space that that will correct whatever error that is preventing them from working right? Is there something that needs to be updated? In SOS the only thing that I notice working is the bullet impacts.

I just noticed recently the sound mods, Speed of Sound and DynaSound, are not working properly. ive also been working on a sound mod as well and I wanted to know if there had been an update to ArmA3 lately or recently. What hppens is wit Dyna, nothing is affected or changed. With SOS only the bullet impacts are working. Nothing else. Does this mean in my sound mod config will I need to change something here: units[] = {}; weapons[] = {}; requiredVersion = 0.1; requiredAddons[] = {"A3_Weapons_F"}; Do I need to add anything into "requiredAddons? Was there an update that changed how the Mods work? I am playing ArmA3 through Steam using the mod organizer in the game btw
  6. thanks buddy. Well, what im trying to do is trial and error. Ive been trying to figure out how the config works since I haven't gotten much for help, just a couple of directions where to look, so Ive made myself some starter folders for the sound mod im creating now. Im trying to find out if there is some information I need to add into the config so that the new ArmA3 update will not render my sound mod to not work. Ive asked around and no one seems to want to give me that info on what I need to update or what I need to include in the config file list

    Does anyone have any idea how to get around the changes ArmA3 update has made? DO I need to add anyting into the: units[] = {}; weapons[] = {}; requiredVersion = 0.1; requiredAddons[] = {"A3_Weapons_F"}; Seems no sounds of the mod are played, only vanilla. It worked earlier in Speed of Sound. I think there was an update for ArmA3 and now only a few bullet impact work when I play. I tried DynaSound and all that plays is ArmA vanilla sounds

  11. have you figured it out yet? The part I cant understand is whether or not some sounds are stereo or not. Ive extracted several sounds to see if so and they are all stereo, yet the sound files extracted are much bigger in file size than what the WSS file says.

    why is it that when I try to access pboProject I get an error message? the error says "the procedure entry point? pbo getdefaultignorecompreesionlist@depbo could not be located in the dynamic link library depbo64.dll

  19. Not bad, but you need variation brothu. Distant sounds? well, hit me up if you need any , I got em ;) Ive been having a tough time figuring out how to work the config for the sound section in ArmA3 lately, and my wife expecting as well, so I am not sure if I'll ever be able to finish :(

    Is the way the config used in ArmA3 the same as it is used in ArmA2?
