Maybe because they got killed all the time they tried it? Seriously, there is no reason to shoot on a vehicle if you cant really damage it in order to safe your life. I prefer this behaviour instead of AI getting killed while they could just hide and be quiet. Maybe they should even run away from enemy vehicles and try to hide.

I am talking about getting stuck in environment as is happening in A3.

That is not the only case. I have found another sounds that behave like that but don't remember what they were.

Please, make adjusting height and direction of an object available without placing an object first on the ground. Current state is: You have to first place object on the ground and only then you can set the height.

It is not just about the campaign itself. Those problems mentioned are all around Arma gameplay when it comes to AI. And there is many players that don't enjoy MP for various reasons so there is no point in suggesting them to play MP. If the game has SP, then it should be fully functional. ---------- Post added at 15:21 ---------- Previous post was at 15:15 ---------- The reversing is broken. They sometimes can't figure out what to do when they crash. Often they either reverse not enough to unstuck themselves or they don't reverse at all. Also, they often do not change their direction after reversing which leads to constant repetitive crashing in one place.

What is worrying me is that I had no stuck AI soldiers in OFP nor Arma 2. Never. They have been doing a lot of stupid things but never got stuck. Now in Arma 3 they get stuck regularly (most recently yesterday, in a building with vanilla AI). Also, ECP mod for OFP made the driving AI completely problem-free. It was absolutely reliable, predictable. Don't know why is it not possible in Arma series.

Yeah, and I can agree that chem-lights are mostly useless (not always tho).

Distance and LOS seems to be key factors for this bugged behaviour. Check the repro missions and detailed info (also comments).

Height placement does not work like charm, unfortunately. You have to first place them on the ground and only then you can set the height. I would like to set the height without having to put them on the ground first.

Yes, I am really enjoying placing units in buildings, on roofs and some other tricky places. Having fun with Zeus.

Yeah, I would also like the quantities to be reduced a bit but not completely as I use smoke grenades often.

What is really annoying is your stupid whining about how graphics and audio engineers should do engine programmer's job. And who are you to say what should get the highest priority? I for one want the highest priority to be given to AI development but I cannot speak for other people in the community (something you apparently have no problem with at all). -

Yes, options are always desirable. I personally cannot stand the safe mode in Arma. They look like a bunch of stupid fashion models while walking. A complete immersion killer. But this is offtopic, of course.
